Lessen our profits for a couple of months, but what else were we doing with the cash :)  As members all improve at pvp/missions - we should see a stabilisation on requests, which will have a knock on back to our profits. Plus, I'll be throwing nearly a billion in liquid isk at this project to ensure the corp shoulders little cost from the off.

Also as our miners ramp up - we have more on board now - we'll start having more minerals to play with, which means we can sell more orca's :) May even sell one or two spare ships from time to time to keep profits up.

My aim really is basically to make the game less of a chore to play overall (I recall how hard it felt to pay for ships back in my days and want to spare people that) and this is the biggest part of that - its the centre peice of a solid infrastructure.

As long as it doesn't affect the corp economy to much (doesn't feel right that you should fund it yourself imo)

I'll be using the corp wallet to buy all the equipment, frigate, dessie, and cruiser bpo/c's.  Rest of the cash im throwing in myself will to ensure that insurance payouts and such dont really hurt the wallet :)

It shouldn't do apart from the inital setup costs (BP's).  The programme that Beo mentioned re:T2 will help buffer the corp wallet.
Just need a little more time to finish the idea and discuss it through more with Beo before he presents it to y'all.

I took two Caracals from the hangar today, will log in a moment to make the payment :)

Good plan! We especially seem to lack Amarr frigates, as there are a few new Amarr pilots with the Corp :)

I could of got a harby for ~12 million *faints* thats only 4 million more than a normal Maller!

I think you should build Mallers and Punishers as well if at all possible.

They're T1 frigs and cruisers so will be covered.
The list is rather large for all races - so what you see is just a way of saving some space in the post.

Aye, I'll flesh it out as people request cruisers I didnt already list.  Assume when i say Frigates we'll build them all :)

As I buy BPO for a ship they'll be highlighted RED, BPCs will be Highlighted GREEN with a Number next to it, signifying runs on it.

PVP Loot: This should be passed to the corp and sold on the market, with proceeds going into the Ship Program wallet. However, should people lose a ship during a roam, then the sale proceeds will be split amongst all ship losses, to further lessen the blow from a loss.

I would assume that most people will be using T1 ships got from the corp using the methods you mentioned in your post (at least for the forseeable future) so is this really needed at present?
I could make a fortune... 1. get ship and fittings from corp at zero cost.
                                             2. Insure said ship.
                                             3. head for lowsec/0.0 as part of a corp pvp group and make a nuisance of myself till i die.
                                             4. collect insurance from insurers and then again from corp.
                                             5. tuck away all the free isk's  :P

I think you need to narrow down the specifics on this one a little mate  ;D (not that i think anyone in the corp would do such a thing, we are all to upfront for that which is what makes this bunch so nice)

The pvp loot as you say isnt an immediate issue (as only im crazy/rich enough to run t2 :D), but i'd rather have the system in place and just not payout till losses outweigh insurance - I'll amend the wording in a second to reflect this.

As for the rest - The program just had a slight tweak on the insurance front, partially on your concerns and partially on my own thoughts.paranoia :D  The program only insures BC/BS as I have written, however the addition is now it only insures the FIRST ship of that class you purchase - and yes I now have a spreadsheet!

Edit: I have realised that given cost of insurance and overall profitability of missions for people as they get into L4's - and in M10 the new mission arcs - I dont think paying insurance is as big an issue as I thought it was, its the actual buy-in cost for new toys that becomes prohibitive.

The corp is a great team and we work well together - but if with time somebody decides not to be part of that team then, while it won't be an easy decision for the directors to make, that person will probably be asked politely to leave.
