GOA woes...
« on: November 01, 2008, 05:34:33 PM »
So I go to log on about lunch time, and get no joy from the patcher/launcher thing.

Mess about trying to get it to work. Give up.

Go to my account, and it says my accounts not subbed - oops I think to myself, so I setup a sub. All goes well on that horrid site.

I wait a while - hey this is GOA - and try to log again. No joy.

Go back to account page, no sub shows as being created. So on the off chance it bugged I use a different card to do the same. (Not having my CC screwed by GOA before I sod off to Iceland on Tuesday!). Again all goes ok for me.

Leave it till 30 minutes ago, try to log for a nice evening RVR before getting Artheric more loot in MG (;)) and no dice again.

Checked my emails, nothing as yet to confirm a subscription creation (or two) - do we even get these? Checked both my CC and the account the other card is attached to. No withdrawals for GOA/France Telecom/WAR/Mythic whoever.

Currently emailing Tech Support via the GOA site to see if they can help me on this - basically what you see above is what they are getting, as I want to play. I have destruction to kill, and renown to get (So close to RR26 I can taste it).

Annoying!
Seems I was lucky to get it done in one go last week or so. :S

How goes it?

Have you had any luck with it Beo? or are you still excommunicated.

No email replies to tickets as yet.

Keeping on trying my selection of cards mind you - if I get multiple subs or withdrawals somehow I can always cancel the unnecessary ones.

Gutted too as this is my fun outlet for the next couple of days before vacation - saving money by staying in.

I should have really done this earlier in the week, but what with getting work out of the way, actually playing, alliance site to do and such, it slipped my mind. Might have worked then too.

I still have a week left on my account, I guess I'd better purchase more time ASAP so that I don't end up in a similar situation  :o

From experience with GOA I would say you have hit the dreaded "invoice pending" which can last 24 hrs when you resub.

Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. However I am pretty much out the door for my vacation.

Feels like a waste now.  But at least its fixed before I went :)
