Overly rich and super efamous eve player Chribba just took space with his 1 man alliance. (That half of eve would defend him against the other half should anyone try it is a fun thing too!)

Anyways seems it was an accident and he's going to keep it - as best as he can of course (Mind you he has a titan and other caps - hisec and otherwise).

I was waiting in the system before DT as I was going to assist in a 3rd party case late yesterday evening. While sitting cloaked, scared ****tless obviously punshing the scan button every other 2 sec (even though local was empty - you never know when the Monkey arrives LaughingLaughing) I noticed a TCU that did not show up on the oveview, and the system was unclaimed.

So I figured this would be an unanchored TCU, relying on the ancient skills of tracking down stuff using the scanner I spent around 8 hours in total yesterday MWD'ing and aiming the scanner towards the floating TCU.

And I managed to pin it down, and with a bit of help from the locals borrow a ship to re-launch the TCU with my ticker on it. And well yeah it onlined fine as it seems (even after being attacked a few times).

So \o/ my first sov, as for future plans, I don't have any set in stone yet. But I know I always wanted a screenshot of my own outpost (before someone steals it) so I might go for that screenshot at some point now that I have a system with my name on it hehe.

Just to clarify, DK/UK had nothing to do with this.

The providence holding alliances decided that chribba was the natrual choice and begain talks to give it to him. When DK found out the first thing they did was tried to extort him out of 30 bil for the system.

It was DK's intention prior to this to give the system to BDEAL, who in turn after talking with the rest of provi was going to hand it over to chribba.

Part of the attempt at extorting Chribba was that they wanted him to claim that this was all DK's idea. When the truth is this is something that WE (the rest of the provi bloc) have been trying to make happen for a long time.

While it really does not matter, I do find it kind of pathetic that DK feels the need to fluff their ego's claiming responsibility for this, The rest of provi is behind chribba 100% and DK can go **** themselves for trying to make chribba pay 30 bil for a system they couldn't protect. Shame on you DK, shame...

Chribba now runs a station in provi backed by the local nippact folks there.  Good for the region if they keep to the agreement to leave it be and have it open to all - brings memories back of the old provi and how all stations were open to all unless you shot the rpers (so they werent open to us for a long time!).
