Lag helped, but its a new EVE record for caps lost in 1 engagement!

Jesus, that was one crazy battle. SO many titans and other capitals on the battlefield.
Crazy win for the other side too: 500B vs. 25B isk

Yeah syco Russians are nuts. White Noise had like 8 titans and 17 super caps on field...

EVE kill fixed any officer/faction prices? As they may increase the loss figures :D

Lol CCP:

During the fleet-battle in 6NJ8-V on June 16th server performance was adversely affected by load issues. One of the resulting problems was the revival of ships that had been killed during the fight, including a few super-capitals. We want to clarify that this was due to database issues, which are still under investigation – the ships were NOT returned by GameMasters. This matter is still being investigated and further information will be forthcoming when available..

So the NC have actually had some ships "returned" - not by CCP - by broken server code. Basically if a ship jumped out after loading grid, it didnt really it ended up back in the system it tried to leave, and often died.  The server cant remember this so the ships came back unpiloted in space.

Ships that couldnt load grid but died, didnt reappear at all (which is how it "works" normally).

Lol ccp.

im guessing that they will get most of the losses back and told off for not informing CCP of battle as it is in the policy to let them know in advance "cos wars like that" (my quote no one elses).
"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money." Josiah Stamp (Governor Bank of England 1928-41)

Battlereport from the titan killers pov:

Quote
Venal is a cementry for titans
(not very short battlereport for 6nj operation from WN side. Original text in russian by WN FC)

What you find difficult
We find simple
WN

Since its creation WN has made events that became part of Eve history like the biggest capital fight, biggest number of supercaps descroyed at one roam-fight. We and our collateral friends for operations had a lot of fun in that fights. Anyway it started much more difficult to plan fights with supercaps after Dominion presentation and boosting supercaps and titans HP. Several tries to catch and destroy meaningful quantity of NC supers failed in time of northen conflict due to lack of coordination with SC alliances.

The operation was planned after SC came away from north. We put under preasure our alliance, our ships and poses, and a future of our alliance too. We prepared this operation for last two months assuming that this will be our last event in the north in which NC "agreed" to participate. The main active events for this operation occured during last 2-3 weeks.

We and RA alliance started to "lost" our poses for NC boosting them morale and making them to be sure that WN alliance is on a way to failcascade. Final "cherry in the top of cake" was subcapital fight in 6nj system at the beginning of June, in which fleet WN/RA/CO2 has been "lost" by WN FC on purpose. NC became sure of our weakness, they stopped to bewar? of us - that was actually the plan.

Seed fall down in a good soil. NC was sure of our weakness and was sure that nobody can do anything with their supercap fleet hotdrop consist of 9-10 titans and supercarriers as a support. We also was happy of NC was of thinks, only our pilots who were disappointed by lastest "lost" fights but they were happily surprised in the battle for which this wall of text is devoted to.

Goal of operation:
- Kill NC supercap fleet which they really like to used against us for latest months. Kill everything that they think the top of their military power and military pride.
- Allow to participate in this mega-event for new partners, with which we didn't work earlier, and see on the bettlefield our old best friends.

Thinking further: all goals are accomplished and over-accomplished.

Like in chess, all figures were placed in positions, fleet was formed, supercaps for conter-hotdrop were hiding, our allies prepare their guns ready either to kill NC supercaps or protect our supercaps on the battlefield. 6nj system was boosted, we are ready to use our supercaps, allies are ready to fight to the end.

The initial possition was following: 6nj system has about 300 NC BS fleet (Rebels and Stella). WN and RA united fleet was approximate 230 pilots. We bridged to bv- local which is next to 6nj and stand close to 6nj gate. 6nj- system was heavy fortified - lots of mobiles on gates/plannets/belts, enemy subcapital fleet is on their optimals on BV- gate ready for our jump in the system.

The fight itself.
We entered our suicide caps and one supercap, "accidentally" messed up with cyno at our pos in 6nj system and entered system too. This "bustard" was scold in our main TS "sincerely". This was heared by all of our fleet including happy NC spies. They are ready to hotdrop our caps, our FC in main TS said sadly "Again this b**es has about 8 titans, ten supercarriers and a lot of dreads. Again is fail for us, but we still going to engage."

The other guys who had prepared this operation was also prepared and excited - the end phase of operation was rather close.
Our caps at our pos starts to kill mobiles, Rebel and Stella fleet is going up to them on their optimals but they can't kill spider of our carriers. Subcap fleet in bv- local jumped in the system 6nj-.

Enemy fleet aligned to the gate and warp off pos towards gate. The battle is started on the gate, our caps aligneds towards gate also. NC cyno was switching on in system, NC entered their supercaps and caps exactly in gate. They had much more that we had, only dreads is about 50+. The battle has been started, NC titans and supercaps have already being in trap, they actually hadn't known about it yet.

The battle started at bv- gate, our not already loaded fleet was shooted by NC subcaps, caps and supercaps. One of key role of this part of battle is belong to our allied - Solar Fleet Bomber wing. They were crazy effective at bombing hostile BS fleet during whole battle. We started cyno at our pos for conter-hotdrop, we started cyno after all NC supercaps on the battlefield, countered and bubbled. Our supercaps alligned to bv- gate and WARP IN GRID WHERE ALL NC SUPERCAPS AND CAPS ARE ALREADY LOADED and grid was full of drones.

Our allies also started cyno and allied support teams presented with ROL and Ewok alliances came in system. Again as usual in supercaps fight, we were lack of dictors - it was too suspicious prioritizing them during forming fleets. Anyway they were rather enough to tackle and keep stayed NC supers at battlefield.

At this moment NC TS and fleet was blowed up with panic, our supercaps were loading the grid same as support fleet do (we entered system and grid). NC had a great opportunity to finish this battle with killing our supercaps shooting them at their appearence, but they were too suprised looking through overview full of hostile supercaps and lots of Ewok/ROL guys in system. "What shall we do?" - is simple quesion in NC TS and no answer for this, oh no it exists "Go away out of here for the hell!". But guys were already in bubbles.

- BS fleet were in system before our entering and loading system. They were on optimals above the bubbled gate.
- NC Supercaps and support caps were in battlefield before our super fleet, loaded and fighted agains our BSs
- We warped in to their grid and loaded after risking to lost everything in lags our be divided and shooted with several parts
- NC watched at our not-loaded supercaps and started to think how to get away of this shit planning to save themselves.
- Panic and cowardice were causes of NC loss this battlefield for Rebellion pos that we hadn't even killed.

Our supercap fleet primary is Ragnarok Sala Cameron, leader of NC titan wing accoring to our spy info. Titan was jumped out and our thoughts is "that something goes wrong" Actually pilot is very skilled and lucky guy - he was bumped out of main NC titans and was far away of thir main fleet. Our damage from not fully loaded supercaps haven't been too big to kill him fast. This guy actually had a steel balls, after his jumping out, pilot again cynoed in system and could see how we killed those who were under his commands.

NC Superfleet got the command "Those who cannot jumped out - primary is Avatar Jowan CO2"
NC supercaps tried to killed our avatar, destroying his shield. Our supercaps were too far from it to rem-rep this brave serbian guy, this Avatar was bumped out when he warped in battlefied. Our support field get an order to kill heavy-dictors arround Avatar due to its tackled and under damage. Avatar CO2 warped off with heavy armor damage. Later he also returned to battlefield.

We trying to kill NC titans but 3 or 4 heavy damaged titan also were able to jumped out the system. Our support is close to die, allied support is not loaded fully to the system. Critical lack of dictors, shouts at our TS etc. The majority of our supercaps are stucked during load or relogin, our expecting damage was less that we had expected planning this. But we were ready to fight till the end of hostile supers or our supers, in either side NC supercaps were fleet for inspirating horror and numbers but not for fight - their supercaps fits prove that.

That battle was in the mid, but we haven't already known its end result.

We were maneuring with our fleets and continued to kill. Our BSs added some DPS on NC supercaps, saved our supers from being terminated, shot at hostile BSs. Our suicide caps survived under hostile support and cap fleet damages, putting their DPS in common pool of damage on NC supercaps. Loaded dictors made our crazy dreams the reality never stop bubbling everything hostile, loaded or not-loaded in grid. Our titans were shooting with guns and use dd on NC caps in every 10 minutes. Supercarriers were trying to persuade fb to go out drone bay and to do their fucking job.

NC hasn't already thinking of killing WN that time. They used to easy fights with us during last months - they tried to escape cap and supercap extermination, trying to jumping them out the system. In parallel they were entering their subcapital reinforcements increasing local and server loading. They planed that lags didn't allow to kill too much their ships. But their payment for this decision was simple and high - some of their titans jumped out but still on the battlefield as ghosts that we can't even lock.

More and more ROL and EWOK pilots have being loading in system and take part in battle. RA BS fleet and 3 CO2 titans were fighting since the beginning. This mega-event hadn't been possible Without support of these alliances.

Hostile fleets started to lost their ships: titans, supercaps, usual caps. After 4 hours non stop shooting, shouting in TSs and lots of spended nerves everything was finished. The biggest ever supercapital fight was over, the most treacherous trap in EVE history just worked as planned.

6 NC titan down
3 NC Supercaps down
More than 20 NC caps down
Suicide WN capital fleet has several losses (6 ships)
WN and allied supercaps are saved
Kills and losses at subcap level - actually, who cares after written above;)

Gratitudes:
RA - without you, guys, we didn't do this epic at whole. Fact
CO2 - you haven't got a lot of numbers but we always like your stubbornness and ready to fight always and everywhere. Good luck you at Alliance Tournament VIII!
ROL/EWOK - for really great donation to this epic.
Personal thanks to Mr Nync - support fleet under his command was just in time on the battlefield that played major role in this epic
Solar Fleet - bomber wing did perfect work. Great weapon that was used just in certain time and in certain place. Osom!
