Dont use HICtors to mission in.

they are purely pvp ships - bubbles and permatackles.

Train into a Munnin or a Vagabond (Minnie Heavy Assault Cruisers).  Both will do well in most l4's. (Hacs are great fun at L4).

Work on your mechanic skills - to 4 or even V in most cases; same for shield skills; basic fitting skills; get AWU to at least 4; Max your speed skills under navigation to V (you are minnie ffs).

Then get into HAC's and well equipped bc/bs's.  And you'll do better.

But deffo dont use a Broadsword for pve.   

Tbh get a 'cane and ask on here about good pve fits for one - we have a few minnie pilots (Saf/Hrodgar)

Seriously Level V Shield Comp, SHield Mgt, Shield Emission, Shield Upgrades, Energy grid Upgrades,  Hull Upgrades, Repair Systems.  get your armor comps to V too and your shield comps.

Oh and jesus h christ, get MOAR drone skills - minnie ships do have drone bays, and they are damn useful...
