Excellent book, the movie is just as good, and just as depressing. 

It is well worth a watch though as the whole "post apocalypse" stuff is done very well - although minus zombies or mad max ;D

must get myself out to see this :)

im always drawn to the post apocalypse stuff and besides viggo is in in mostly gives a good performance in anything he is in.

Is it in your theaters now? My dutch theater-site says the movie dates from 2008, which is doesnt and it obviously isnt in theaters here now...

Also zombieland still didnt hit holland afaik and doubt it ever will  >:(

zombieland is out on north america dvd on 2nd of feb according to www.movietyme.com

Viggo is brilliant in The Road - he seems nearly prfect for the role of The Man.

As for Zombieland - why not torrent it? ;)
