Where and what should we become in the future?

I've been trying to think (so don't come with the fire extinguishers).

My will to try to do anything that gives more cash and influence to the alliance lead (Derida, AM and MD afaik) is basically 0. The entire handling of the debacle with the-fallen and vyst is the straw that broke the camels back, not that they were kicked but that the lead flat out refused timely information when asked and even ridiculed the questions.
This together with the complete silence on any vision of the future for the alliance makes my skin crawl.

Quite frankly, I doubt the alliance has any real future. What I can see is that PL/SoT might be interested in the renter alliances and EZ for that "pendulum" effect CCP is working at for the sov overhaul. However that will be at gun-point so to speak. At most we would be used and allowed to use most areas as now, more likely is that we would be exploited and crammed into crap constellations where the only realistic endeavor is to rat. Add to this that PL/SoT couldn't care less about GK or any other small roamers that kill their pets.

It all just feels "meh" to me.
Risking assets and time to improve PL space in order to enrich one of the richest alliances in the game? It isn't for me.

So I'd like to know what do the rest of you want?

Myself I've been thinking seriously about npc 0.0 with a base in low sec. More exactly around Great-Wildlands, Molden Heath and Metropolis. It would involve some poses if we can find decent moons (cad/chrom) in order to fund pew pew and possibly also building caps since it is fun :)

So? Any thoughts? Am i a moron wanting something more?

You know full well I agree with you :D

Been mulling over going flashy red too (I have hisec alts), so a lowsec/npc 0.0 base, roaming area would be handy!

Will have a chat with Bethor after I get back from my holiday (19th-24th). Ask what lo-sec is like, explore possibility of joining their alliance etc.
Will then discuss this with you and see what you think. Not exactly sure where they are based, but it is Minnie losec somewhere.
Ofc, moving there on our own is a possibility too. Or mebbe our 'older' members have some strings they can pull?

I never really got interested in fountain life. Every time i was about to get ready to give it a go something happened in the alliance or with other things that put me off.
I am all up for moving out of fountain(wich happens right after moving tons of crap down there but oh well).

Just had a chat with Bethor already.
Seems their alliance keeps a NRDS / no-piracy policy, so might not be the best option for the triggerhappy amongst us.
Nuf reds to shoot there though.

what is interesting though is that 2-3 corps in the alliance are active in Wspace, what I understand 1 corp already has (a) base(s) in there and Beth's corp is planning to get there too soon.

Mang(/whoever), if you have questions, convo Beth (or Sin mebbe)


If ppl have other options/ideas though, plz explore them   ;)

To be more clear, cooperate and be friendly sure thing. But not join with them fully. Base in our own "space" and do our own thing.
I guess they are industrials so could for example be possible to cooperate on remote mining ops or such in GW but I'd prefer we be able to do that ourselves as well if the interest is there. And of course I think we should operate NBSI in general and try to find friends in GW for example.

Well, my main concern is that we are only with 5-10 active ppl. Therefore, we shouldnt set our goals too high, IMHO
Does anyone know what Zigz' plans are?

edit: sure we shouldn't set our sights to high.
But I don't think the idea is that far fetched to roam around GW shooting stuff and having some industry on the side to pay for losses :)

hmm, usually only one or two (three?!!) of us join an op at a time
plus we won't be able to defend a POS effectively on our own(s)
