i am cynical and i dont care.
"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money." Josiah Stamp (Governor Bank of England 1928-41)

Try Hearthstone. It's like Mechwarrior. But with cards. And no mechs. But there's a warrior. With cards.

<3 Hearthstone.

Been playing a bit now.
To be honest it isn't a bad game for large parts.

As i said earlier it lacks a story, battles doesn't matter more than to get you more currency.

Also losses doesn't matter apart from not getting Money. Which is a pity.

What they need to change to make it last is.

1. Make wins/losses matter
2. Construct a World that is influenced by actions on the field.
3. Much much much larger maps with more people on them. 12v12 is too small.

Problem is they have bit off more than they can chew. They should have focused first on setting and surrounding then on the mech part.

As it stands it is basically a team deathmatch with mechs.
