Off-topic, but it is a good thing I can turn off the avatars and signatures on this forum. Some of them are starting to get rather disturbing :(

I guess I should take some pills to regain my lost sense of humour.

That would be me :)

Sorry about that, I keep finding silly images from shows I like.  Ive changed half a dozen times this week already, so look forward to me getting bored soon!

I helped suicide gank a JF in Hisec (and well it turns out thats not alliance policy - which i helped write :D), alliance members got pissy - never said a direct word to me - so I switched characters around a bit.

That way I can hulkageddon and keep ganking with Mang, and still play alliance :D  Although im cutting back on how much Im trying to do there until some other folks in the command actually find their undock buttons.

:)

Not strictly, just limiting my command level interactions with BC for a bit. Although im leading an op - MICLESS (I snapped the cable tripping over it...).

I'll say one thing.

The DUOS guys I flew with this evening for a bit surprised me - really up for the roam and sorting stuff out (clones and the like).  They are mainly pvp newbies and really had enthusiasm for it. Shame I fucked my mic over really (1 minute for the op was to kick off too!), could have been better.

So I have some hope - and we discussed the gank etc and well it wasnt them who had issues, they actually saw the funny side too :D

yeah, it's those zealots in NERF and 4tune I guess

Well I have been getting a foreboding feeling for a while about how the alliance it going at the moment.

I have tried to participate in the last few alliance pvp roams.  There was a medium turn out on the last one, but the NRDS in MH / GW really got in the way of us finding targets in Low Sec.  I think there is a lack of committed FC's.  The first roam ended up taking us off into Low Sec in The Forge/Citadel with no luck finding targets that the FC was willing to engage.  Personally I don't mind suicide attacks because I fly very cheap ships in PVP. under 10Misk fits, and I think we need to educate the pvp noobs that this is really the way to go. But I digress.

Twenty minutes into the second roam, he threw in the towel because of lack of low sec targets, and said lets all go to M-M and join up with Re-Al.  Which cut our numbers in half because some people didn't have the right clones or ships to go running off to null sec.

I have to give credit to Jdizzer for even trying to run an Op, but I have had more luck joining up with Re-al's fleet on my own than on Alliance ops.

I also think they are taking the High Sec carebear thing a bit far.  Tis is a He btw.  Have hung out on TS with him and the active guys, mostly NERF guys, and they all seem reasonable and nice for Europeans.  :P

I am looking forward to Hulkageddon, and have been since Hulkageddon 2.  But I don't want to have to leave corp for it.  Luckily I have enough time to train my industry alt into a battle ship by the 9th.   I'm worried about getting him too much negative Sec status, but I guess we will see how that goes.  Nothing a lot of missioning can't fix I guess.

Have had almost no interaction with 4tune guys.  So I have no opinion there.

Fun is my goal.  And I think a little griefing now and again is fun.  Coming from games like Everquest and SWG, where it would get you banned, I think CCP's stance on actions and consequences is what makes Eve the best game on the planet at the present time.  And as long as I am willing to take the consequences of killing miners in High Sec, why should that cause problems for the Alliance if its ok with CCP?  It's not like we have never been war dec'ed.

In fact, recently 2 guys have left NERF because they wanted to join a corp that offered more pvp (among which: jdizzler).
The pvp is taking too long to happen -> the enthusiasts leave -> pvp will take even longer to happen.

It's not strange either that when Chumly fell apart the pvp guys didnt try to join another corp within BC. Instead they went to RE-AL = pvp.

From what I've heard a new forum is coming up. I've been told that Sin has deleted all login data...

He was already running phpbb so why change unless it was to smf or something custom.

Makes no never mind, the same few will use it, the rest will feign ignorance of it - as they used to do with alliance chat :D

That explains why i can't log in.

Glad I convinced you to return.  It's not like any of those Emo's that forced you out are logging in anymore anyhow.

The whole corp left :) (it was mainly 4tune iirc)
