im still a firm believer in the only way to learn to probe is by doing it.

is still my favourite part of the game ;)  until some chinese gold seller beats you to it by seconds, then you can always stay cloaked and get at least one can before he gets to it :)

Having recently done the in-game tutorial about probing, I have to say it is a very good tool. I did watch a Youtube video too (maybe it was the one Mangala linked above), but once I was doing the thing and getting explained what all the different thingies (Radar, Ladar, Magnetometric etc) findings are, I felt much comfortable regarding the whole probing thing :)
