Evac procedure from fountain
« on: August 05, 2009, 11:51:04 AM »
Well I'm paranoid and don't trust alliance lead or PL.
I doubt alliance lead was prepared for the renters agreement to change in the way it did, that is basically making renting PL space more of a nuisance than possibility.

This leads me to belive they are rather incapable to actually considering the eventuality that PL might say "you have 1 week to get your shit out" if PL would even give us that much warning.

So in anticipation for that eventuality I think it might be prudent to figure out a way to evac our shit to safety in a quick and orderly manner.

Our logistics base is a bit short for it right now (only one JF and carrier).

So any ideas how this should be done. I'll come back with some of my own later.

Im thinking about hiring Morc privately for my own stuff and getting him to jump it from MN to at least Agauallores. (if he cant do that, then I'll ship it all to PNQYY and get it right up to empire with him.

We could probably do similar for us all if necessary, and sell on the market at a profit whatever we cant remove.

So this is it? We leave EZ and fountain?
Or just making a plan for emergency evac??

Most of the stuff i was going to have in fountain hasnt left Jita. :)
I only got a couple of ships at pnq and some stuff in MN5. With the carrier i can jump ships directly from MN5 to Agaullores. The JF needs a point somewhere in Fountain or it can reach Soza in Arida if Fountain is a no go.

I am paranoid enough to think that PL is thinking about something more, the new renters deal is horrible really and even if we aren't included (can't say deridia's response calmed me much) I doubt that will remain for long and with the alliance leadership so completely silent about everything it becomes kind of hard to know if they are on top of anything.

Only thing that would do my head in about any possible withdrawal from Fountain (as personally I wouldnt want to be a renter now.) is having to remove all the work Hrod has put in setting up a tower infrastructure.

Not related to an evac, but i'd like the contents of the corp hangar at Beer shack moved to MN if possible. (I'll be able to help with this come thursday/friday, as like im working on my birthday or the hangover day!)

My paranoia knows no bounds lately.

I'll start to move stuff tomorrow.

Only keep the needed pvp ships in your own hangar.

All the billions of modules we have?

Taking them all, or liquidating and moving mines/selling mins?

Or liquidating some and keeping some to move (my choice of these options to be honest)?

How many billions do we have?
i.e. does it fit in the carrier, together with the other stuff or not?

ofc, no need to hang on to the useless crap, but no need to break our heads over stuff either (but then, i'm an evadah)
also, choice between market or breaking down to mins, i'd say mins

heck, i dunno

just mind the station container with my stuff in 'Stuff' section, keep it intact a bit if possible, will decide what of that to hamster and what not soon(TM)

TBH id say unless its best named or T2 melt or sell

T1 ships can easily be built back in empire so sell em, if you have ships with rigs sell at a price that allows for repurchase in empire.

Just my thoughts ;) to make the move easier on the jump capable.
"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money." Josiah Stamp (Governor Bank of England 1928-41)

Cmaxx started the rest of the needed for the carrier we had already built most stuff for. So thats a bit less stuff to worry about :)

Was looking at the minerals though, we have enough to build one more carrier in fountain after the one we have. So was thinking it could be a better idea to build that carrier there in order to take advantage of the minerals we already have and not stress the JF logistics more than we have to. It is a way to compress the minerals into being "self moving" so to speak and since a carrier can jump from mn5 to low sec in one jump it is safe"ish".
