EU PTS (Test Server)

Looks like we'll be getting an EU PTS - next time you login you'll notice testPatch being downloaded.
While it's not up and running yet - it should be pretty soon.

You'll need to use the char Transfer option on the War EU site to create the char on the test server first.
With luck - the news will be updated with more info.

ooo, very nice to hear this matey.  I have to give the PTR's a chuck, all the places I have seen info on - including that thread you linked - suggest the PTR suggest an excellent amount of goodness in 1.1 and being able to give it a go prior to release is good (unless we get it the morning of the patch to make us be quiet...)

The PTS is up and running - and while you can't currently transfer an existing char - you can create a new one and have a poke around.

It's looking good so far - a nice UI addition is the ability to manage plugins now in-game.

Edit:
Memory usage of the 1.1 client has been dropped significantly - I was seeing around 900mb being used - with 1.0.6 I use around 1.4GB.

Update:
Char copies have now been enabled - takes 10-20 mins to copy a char.  Note - if you have a char on another server with the same name - you'll only see one of them in the list.  Deleating the other/old/one of the chars fixes the issue.

Thanks for the edit about same name characters.  Just deleted Beosvir on Yvresse (from when they cloned KH), now waiting on the transfer of the proper Beo.
