Warhammer Online / Re: [Ironbreaker] Building threat

I'll hijack this thread for a question about game mechanics! In particular, 2 handed vs. sword&board weapon loadout. I've recently started a chosen (blasphemy! madness!) and being the huge armored blob of meat, he gets a choice of either wielding a shield and sword/axe or a 2handed sword/axe. But how does this work? While playing with both, I got the feeling my dps was about the same no matter what kind of weaponry I had equipped. If I understand the mechanics, the weapon dps only affects the autoattack damage anyhow, ability damage is only affected by stats. So where do the actual differences show up? Specialization? Certain skills?

I don't have a problem with taxes, just throwing an idea out here - in case we do claim keeps, which is silly expensive, we could declare a state of war and set taxes to something ridiculous for upkeep costs. Obviously this isn't something that can be done unless people agree with it, but since money is relatively easy to make for a player, it could help to have a keep claimed for at least some time.

I used to have this beast of a thing: http://www.nd.edu/~lego/grp2/www/graphics/lego/8880.jpg

If memory serves me right, it was about 1200 or even 1300 pieces total. I love it and I'm sad... it's in pieces because I wanted to build something else out of it, then i wanted to rebuild it and found it I just lost too many pieces to ever complete it again. In my opinion, those were still the golden years of Lego, nowadays the bricks are just so... dumbed down :( Bring back the Lego of old!

Warhammer Online / Witch Hunter help appreciated
« on: October 01, 2008, 04:00:47 PM »
Hi!

My Witch Hunter is now rank 21, he's full path of confession so far and I have two career tactic slots unlocked. Here's the problem - I'm not sure which tactics to use! Currently, I'm using the one that buffs your strength and another that gives 50% autoattack speed increase after scoring a critical hit. I know autoattack isn't a major factor when it comes to dps, but while playing around in pve, it seemed to me the increase in speed was quite nice.
Now I've also received the tactic that has a 50% chance of restoring two accusations upon performing an execution and I'm torn. Should I use it instead of one of the other two tactics? Are they balanced enough to not matter which one you use? If anyone can help me choose the right tactics to use, I'd appreciate it!
