Title: Basilisk
Post by: Jarkko on March 19, 2009, 12:55:41 PM
So, tomorrow I will be flying the Bassie (and not today, as I had hoped :( ). I'll fit in the rigs on Saturday morning (need to get to Jury Rigging IV), and I could be flying with the following set-up:

[Swuuls Bassie]
Capacitor Power Relay II
Power Diagnostic System II
Cap Recharger II
Cap Recharger II
Large Capacitor Battery II
Photon Scattering Field I
Large F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction
Large S95a Partial Shield Transporter
Large S95a Partial Shield Transporter
Large S95a Partial Shield Transporter
Large Partial E95c Power Conduit

Core Defence Field Extender I
Capacitor Control Circuit II

Notice that the Energy transfer thingy is off-line (and will stay so unless there is another Bassie in the neighbourhood *or* there is enough shields but not enough cap available). Also, will add in a probe-launcher (off-line) to the the other empty high-slot (EFT does not currently support the new probe-launchers). Everything else can be kept on and stay cap stable at, 18935 EHP, 71km optimal range on shield transfers and transfering 1152 shields per 5 seconds (768 shields and 311 cap per 5 seconds). For the last empty spot I'd fit in a remote hull or armour repper.

Please do comment on the viability of this set-up :)

I'd ignore the hull/armor repper, focus on shields :)  Also I take it the photon field thingy would be swapped out for other racials depending on situation? (ie if we know we are up against sleepers, mission rats, players in certain ship types etc.)

If we need armor reppers I can always look at moving Elan into the Guardian (Also gets a cap tfr bonus as well as armor :D).

I forgot to mention I'd have the hull/armour repper off-line, so adding in an off-line shield repper wouldn't be any use.

instead of having offline mods how about a drone interface to increase rabhe of rep drones if you can use them?

Make sure you have some remote hull & armor reppers at the POS.   They very handy in certain situations :)  And it would mean you'd be able to mobilise them quickly.

Drones skill at a massive 2 atm. I'll go for the repping drones after I get Jury Rigging to IV and then Electronics to V so that I can fit a cloaking device *and* to learn cynosaur thingy.

I packed some to the GSC's I sent that way, hopefully they have arrived :)

EW drones would be a neat thing to use too :)

Yeah, that's what I'll do. I'll lose some 1k EHP, so have to just be slightly faster with that get the heck out -button if need be :p

5 CCC I's in the cooker (25mins left) :)

Let us know if you require a pair, and we'll deal on a price (cheaper than market of course :D) as I havent had time to thing about a proper rig program really.

Necro!!

Version of my fit from ganknight with no ccc rig, I dont need ccc's if I am not the only basi in a gang (fit would be different for solo - more cap regen and such), and a solo basi isnt much use in gang/fleet work - no cap chain.

Anyways, works really well thanks to Logi V.

Use the cap tfr to trade cap with other logis - if only 1 logi with you then use 1 to tfr with that and the other can be used to help out active tanks etc.  Use shield tfrs on other logi too and people who broadcast, fuck people who ask on voice :)   if lots of logis then an even better cap chain can be setup.

You can alter it slightly more to a guardian style, by going for 5 shield transfers and a single cap transfer - ship holds up well fit like that too, and is still cap stable with everything going thanks again to cap chain.

Nice one!
Logi V is something I have on my list too. 2(+) Logi's in a (smaller) gang would be nice to have :)
