This is a PvP setup i was considering for a Cerb.
Thoughts?
-
the only thing id try and change would be a BCS or 2 in the lows really a shame to be missing them on a missile boat
-
The BC fitting in evemon is pretty good for DPS
Exported to EFT gives

It's a smaller tank but with the range you should be aligned out and able to escape.
Tweaking the skill for the bay loading rig brings the CPU to fit.

HAM Cerb: (Needs an implant for Mang to fit it and doesnt use T2 launchers)

Cheers guys ill give it some thought before i set one up. its going to be an expensive purchase thats for sure. :P

I personally prefer my 2nd build, It plays to the sniper in me - reach out and touch somebody. In the head. ;)
Also plays off the bonuses the cerb has - as does the HAM build, but hey its an 80million isk ship, lets keep it back a ways ;)

Rubino, do you think it is worthwhile to have two invulnerability modules *and* a photon scattering one in the same boat? The efficiency for three similar modules would to me appear not to be good enough (that Photon scattering module effectively adds about 10% EM resist, right?) compared to a shield-booster for example, or?

A shield booster will use more cap than the photon field will.
Regarding diminishing returns on the hardeners - the specific hardener should be applied first, then the effectiveness of the invuln II's will be reduced based on stacking penalty.
Beo's fits are very good - but if they're throwing a specific dmg type at you - then you can suffer a lot. The EHP is based on uniform dmg across all dmg types - but if they focus on 1 dmg type (ie EM) - then you're dmg taken at death will be far lower than the EHP of the ship.
This is one of the reasons I don't just use Wrath missiles. If they're tanked for NPCs in Caldari space - then they're going to make their resistances to kinetic very high (leaving something else much weaker) - so I try to exploit that by using EM.
The other problem with an omni tank - is that somebody looking at your ship (without a scanner) will know exactly what the holes in your resists will be (the omni boosts all resists by a %) - fitting a specific hardener means you can plug the holes yourself - and their initial dmg will be much less if they try to exploit any holes they perceive.
