Access Difficulty Bonus: T1, 5%; T2, 5.5%.
Optimal Range: T1, 5,000 m; T2, 6,000m
Required CPU: T1, 20tf; T2, 25tf
Prerequisite: T1, Salvaging Level 1; T2, Salvaging Level 5

so T2 has a poultry 0.5% access difference and a 1000m range boost whats the point lol ;)

Knowing CCP - SalvaginG V is needed for Sleeper wrecks...

That's 0.5% for skill level, so 2.5% difference (25% to 27.5%) for Salvage V ;)

thought there were also some implants that made salvaging more efficient.

And like stated in this topic somewhere it might be you need salvaging V to salvage sleeper wrecks.
