Was thinking about replacing the injectors with nanofiber internal structure, would loose some 2-300m/s but would the added agility "pay off"?
Is raw speed better or?

dont know all the ins and outs, but my guess is that it depends on what your orbit range is

if you orbit close, agility is good, but if you orbit at 10km or so, screw agility and go for speed, as you will be at almost full speed anyway

In high sec I have the orbit set at 500 since they can't use smartbombs.
Else I would set it so I orbit around 7km (range on disruptor is 9.2km and webber 10km).

Peo - test it on SiSi - assuming you finally got the client to work?

I dont know enough about speed mods to say for certain (hey im caldari, we dont do speed ;D)

with a max speed of ~3000 m/s you will never keep an orbit of 500, let alone reach your top speed.
so in that case, go for less speed and more agility, like i said before

Thinking about it this is probably the best route, also run slightly out of a 500, try a 1000 orbit too, a webbed target will find it harder to track you as you move and ideally we'd have it tracking disrupted too (oooo can you fit those anywhere on your vigil - really annoy the opposition?)

i could fit them, i actually have a fit that has one installed, but unfortunately i dont have the script for it, so will have to shop for it
but with no script i still slow down tracking with 17% or so, so quite good already

Humm - we don't have the script in the corp hanger?

Am sure we do.

if not we have some out of corp alts available to grab some and ship them in :)

The scripts are from BP's aren't they?
Might be handy getting them or BPC's for them - we'll need backups in W-Space.

iirc we only have scripts available for 1 module, which is tracking link i think, at uni now so cant check

something more about orbiting: remember that distance is calculated by 2*pi*r ~ 6r
if you orbit at 500m the distance for a full circle thus is only ~ 3000m. at a speed of 500 m/s you will orbit in 6 seconds which is almost 1 rad/s -> nothing can track you then. no need to use afterburner even in such a situation.
MWD will increase your signature radius greatly, so better not to use it when orbiting. i often choose just to fit an AB to my ship for close range setups for this reason (no sig radius penalty and more useful than MWD when orbiting).
ofc having a MWD will increase the speed with which you can reach a target, but when you are close to target, it loses its use

Good point - I sometimes fit both an AB and a MWD.
The MWD is to get to the target and the AB is for orbiting.
