Just checked it out (no I don't do it every hour but...) and it was showing the version as being 6.10.77718
It's likely to be up and down a lot until they finish - but looks like the M10 patch could be available soon.
-
Lol, as bad as me. I check sisi when I switch my machine on and just prior to logging every day :)
Good news if they are updating stuff to it.
-
It's a major version number change - so likely to be the M10 build :)
-
Patched.
I nnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedd ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd to sleep some time tonight :S

thats the patch that they decided to keep back till monday. while it was up people got the link :)
1gb. So i presume its all the new content - its the largest eve patch ever (trinity was more than a patch imo, it was a whole new client almost!)
-
Ooo - linky still works :)
Ta Beo

People have been ripping models from that patch file:

So all the combinations are pre-built?
I thought it might have been done at assembly time(in-game).

this is people ripping stuff from the patch files and peicing them together in their render program of choice.
-
ah cool :) Now that's more like it. It'll allow the system to be very dynamic.
Just downloading the patch again - the first time must have messed up and it complained that something was missing from the package.
-
cant wait to give it a go ;) patched up and ready to rock
those ships look sweet, especially the cylonesque look must get a reds woosh for it.
-
SISI looks like it's entering the startup cycle :)

New POS model
-
If you uncheck the "enable scene 2" the map tends to work.
The background isn't there yet - so whatever is behind will appear.
The new scanning system is pretty spiffy - and it appears that there's a ton of new exploration sites. In Kubanin I found 5 distinct sites
-
Scanning with the new probes..
-
The red rings mean you have only 2 probes covering a site.
Here you'll see 2 sites have been found.
-
Moving the probes about and getting better coverages shows that the system has 3 sites :)
-
Follow this thread for info about what settings you need to turn off to enable maps and scanning: http://myeve.eve-online.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=994372
The scanner window sometimes collapses in on itself - and it looks mashed.
Expand the window and resize the sections - it's usually due to having the window too big and not enough probes out.
Don't trust the signal strength - just because it's 100% doesn't mean it's warpable. You need 3-4 probes to get something that's warpable.
When you can warp it'll be a small green filled circle.
If you see other small filled circles (yellow/red) then it's just a helper to know where to focus your efforts.
If you see a red circle (see images above) then it means you have 2 probes covering the location - but it's not enough to give you precise details of it's location.
3-4 probes are needed to triangualte the position of the signature.
-
looks good, I'm gonna miss all those mid-warp boomarks .... for about a minute.
-
You're still gonna need them to make your safespots.
You can't warp to probes under the new system - although with time and exploration - you can always use those as your safe :)
With the patch I frequently found 3-5 exploration sites per system!

New splash screen from a new patch - not yet released on sisi.
You need another copy of your TQ build, then dl this patch:
http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/test/evepremiumpatch75883-79104_test.exe
(Online downloader thingymabob).
Then once that build is setup:
"If you move the resTextures.stuff and resDX9.stuff from the build posted in this thread to the current sisi"
Move the files. Save your old ones, or move them out of the folder, so you can recover in case of patching.
/Riv
Once all this is done, log to your current test client for the current test server and you'll have certain new shiny effects and backgrounds that dont look shit ;)
-
Gating becomes like part of the cyno-field effect -= pretty neat looking :)
-
Humm - do you have the link from where the patch is posted?
I've tried your steps - but the patcher crashes in the stage after you select the folder the patch should be applied to.
-
SHC: http://www.scrapheap-challenge.com/viewtopic.php?t=23673
Digitalcommunists posts and rivquas in that thread.
-
Thanks.
-
Humm - still crashing out.
If they're not too big can you upload resTextures.stuff & resDX9.stuff?

200mb a chuck :S I can try though :)
-
Ouch - rar'ing them might bring them down a touch.
-
The new backgrounds (from the SHC site) look great!

Got them rard to 100mb each, i'll upload to my site and get links :)
-
If you can install the first patch - there's another: http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/test/evepremiumpatch79104-79176_test.exe

Aye got that - didnt alter the files im just finishing uploading for you - thankfully :)
-
It's not released yet but they've opened up a thread about the next public patch to sisi: http://myeve.eve-online.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=998121
-
There's a new client patch but I've not been able to download the delta patches to my existing SISI patch - only a fresh copy of TQ appears to work (which means a 1 GB download).
The new download is nice though :)
-
Aye its a good system, very fast :)
-
In the latest SISI the client attempts to set the graphics to the best possible.
Alas it doesn't do it right - so things can look blurry.
To fix this:
1) Press ESC and goto the Graphics Settings
2) Set Shader and Texture to low in the middile panel under Grpahic Content Settings & hit Apply.
3) Now Set Shader and Texture to High in the middile panel under Grpahic Content Settings & hit Apply.
4) Close the Window and the problem should be fixed.
The current patch on SISI is: 6.10.80418
Probes currently have issues and aren't warping when you move them - which makes finding Cosmic Signatures difficult.
There have been Market problems due to fragmentation of the SQL Server Database - but an extended DT in the middle of the day appears to have fixed most of them.
-
SISI is currently offline - from the Game Dev forum it appears they're applying a new mirror to the server to fix a cascade of server side & DB bugs introduced in earlier patches.

New patch for SISI: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1003649
It's 125MB for those updating from the previous SISI build.
Patch brings the client to: 6.10.82627
Fixed issues:
* Default settings for shader and texture quality was set to the lowest setting in the device service. This has been fixed
* A texture reported missing from wrecks has been added.
* Fixing sails on more Minmatar ships.
* A "Trash" option had sneaked into the right click menu of drones in the drone bay, this has now been removed.
* Probe movement in the system map has been partially fixed, you can now warp one probe at a time by clicking Analyze after positioning the probe.
Changes:
* The cache size is not set manually anymore. There is a checkbox in the ESC menu that can be ticked to use resource caching. The size of the cache is automatically dictated by the shader and texture quality settings.
* The levels of bloom are not set manually anymore. There is a checkbox in the ESC menu that can be ticked to enable bloom (HDR must be enabled as well).
* Engine trails have been disabled.

The latest SISI mirror is from about a week ago: 13th Feb I think

New patch out for SISI: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1007194
-
And another patch out for SISI: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1008814&page=1
Just a small one - around 20mb.
Scanning is, however, completly broken. Looks like there will be another patch soon that will address it based on the reponse to my bug report.
-
New patch due to hit SISI tomorrow (Saturday 28th) : http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1009744&page=1#9
Should fix some of the main pains now and make scanning functional again
-
Another patch for SISI out today - build. 82565
Patches available: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1009744

Updating mah client!
Want to give this a go - its all beginning to feel more polished from a cursory glance.
I shall give the NPE a few goes, make sure Im aware of all of it as it is now - always handy so I can answer questions from people I entice over ;)
-
Scanning is now much improved - and a real joy to use.
You can now warp to results, you'll get visual clues on the system map and sexy graphics to see your probes.
There's an open WH in URLEN currently (1.0 sec) that leads to the W-Space system where we have a POS.
It's also big enough to allow an Orca through - with a seeded market 1 jump away.
-
The empire WH has shifted and is now in Hishai (0.8 sec).
It allows an Orca and the nearest station is 2 jumps out.
-
New patch for SISI - around 300mb in size.
Still downloading it myself but the autopatcher worked ok from the prev build.
The last build was painful to say the least re:scanning but Grey's promised that this build should fix most of the issues.
On the good news - we now have type information for scanning much earlier on. At less than 25% sig strength we get the signal type "cosmic sig", "Anomaly". At more than 25% we get the signal group "Gravimetric, Radar, Unknown" and at 75% we get the detail of the site - so the site name or "Unstable Wormhole".
If the build is stable and scanning works without too many glitches then I'll put togther a guide & some fraps (if I can find a keygen for it).
-
According the Greyscale it looks like the SISI build now is pretty much final and complete :)
