The official patch notes are out here:http://herald.warhammeronline.com/warherald/NewsArticle.war?id=477
Hits the US servers today - will be Wed or Thur in the EU I guess - nothing official from GOA yet.
All in all it's approx what they were suggesting originally. A few tweaks here and there.
The healing nerf doesn't look like it's been applied.
The patch includes the 2 new classes for Order and Destro.
1.1 appears to be still on schedule for delivery this month and includes a new INF system for oRvR
-
didn't they say at release that Europe would receive these things at the SAME time as our Atlantic friends?
mind you they also said wed get good service as well ;)

Ahhh cheers :)

All pets now get group/directed heals! :S
Mixed blessings for the SW - starting to feel gimped - not looking forward to Assult.
-
Looks the servers are back up and running!
The patch is around 80MB
They've also applied some changes to zone control:
We’ve also applied some recent and vital changes to the RvR Zone Control system. These changes will reduce the amount of time necessary to capture a Tier 4 zone as well as place more emphasis on open field RvR.
Battlefield Objectives and Keep contributions have been increased.
PvE contribution has been decreased.
Prior Zone control contribution has been decreased.
The amount of Scenario Victory Points to take a zone has been decreased.

So I've heard that 1.06 broke the Buffthrottle addon?
This true or has it actually been sorted by its maker?
-
I like the new marole effects (=
-
I hear it's broken (buffThrotle) but in T1 & T2 there are no real issues.
-
Starting to get issues now - just had an intense Stonetroll crossing and the lag started to get grim.
Regarding the KotBS:
I only attempted it from lvl 10 but in T1 the KotBS can solo the Battlefield Objs.
In T2 - Kaffe's alt (Hatter - lvl 15) tried a BO and couldn't finish off the Hero.
Last night I teamed up with Vel's RP alt to work some chapter 6 PQ's and had some great fun.
We couldn't finish the last part - with 2 Knights and a RP - the hero + adds were too much. We could wear down the hero - but the champ adds dealt to much dmg for a lvl 12 RP to keep up with. Maybe better tactics would have changed the outcome - but it was a 3am job and I'm still getting to grips with the class.
I'm not used to thinking so much about cooldowns - yet with twisting + the blessings/debuffs - it's taking a large part of my attention.
Any tips?
With the current EQ I'm getting AP starved and I'm not there yet with the twisting.
But I'm enjoying the class and having great fun with it.

I've uninstalled a few addons, cleaned out BuffThrottle and reinstalled - and it appears to be working now.
I'll test some more and update here.

Excellent news. That mod being broken (and not having been stolen right into their own code by Mythic) was scaring me. More so since I am now fully repatched and soon to log in :)

*cheers*
There's a bottle of whiskey behind the counter for you at Sigmars

There's a ton of addons to keep track of cooldowns, but WSCT does the job just fine, as well as giving alot of other useful information. I've played around with ChosenHelper and HotbarFun to help with the with aura twisting, but I haven't gotten either one of them to work correctly yet. Like you said, the problem with twisting is that it takes up so much of your attention, and you neglect something else. I imagine it's mostly a matter of practice - right now I can twist two auras and still keep an eye on the action, but three is alot harder. This...
But I'm enjoying the class and having great fun with it.
...is also a problem. Maintaining longetivity in combat (kinda the point of a tank) and still doing some damage is hard. Can't wait for that tactic where battle commands no longer cost AP.
-
Cool - I'll checkout WSCT.
At Rank 15 there's a nice little +armor buff with a 30s cooldown that adds to the things to keep track of - but the great thing about it is that it also + AP. I was getting AP starved a lot during intense combat. I've not found and +AP items yet for T2.
Staying alive at the mo is a problem - mostly I think with the lack of experience as a tank - that and the quanity of BG about. It makes for some really intense combat.
I use the ScenarioStats addin - a handy way of keeping general track of Scenarios, wins, losses - highs and averages.
It's a handy one and currently shows (for T1 & T2) on this char - Order Wins about 40% of the time.
I also use LittleBlackBook - which was great until you have multiple chars - then everything is mixed in together.
-
Yeah, surviving and tanking successfully was a new concept for me too, but I think I partially figured it out.
The great thing about battle commands is aside from buffing your groupmates, they give you a great deal of flexibility. I twist [spell]Stand Stong![/spell] and [spell]Gather Your Resolve![/spell] when being hit at range, and [spell]Stand Strong![/spell] with [spell]Press The Attack![/spell] when being hit in melee. Also, you have no excuse not to have [spell]Shield Rush[/spell] constantly active, since it has a 10 second duration and 10 second cooldown. Semi-permanent +10% block as long as you have someone to hit? Yes please.

Healing as Warrior Priest has become *a lot* easier now with a book in hand (books now autogenerate Righteous Fury). Played a few scenarios, and I had absolutely zero RF issues even while standing way back with the other healers and ranged DPS. Just smack the WE's and squigs bouncing around to generate a bit more RF. Not being at the front meant hugely improved survivability, not to mention I could actually ress up people without worrying of falling too far behind the front and thus run RF dry.

*has remembered that he has a G15 keyboard for a reason*
Now I wonder if it's possible to have 2 LUA engines talking to each other?!
-
Confused.
Did the EU get these classes before the US or have I missed something?
Was just glancing over a thread on WHA and it gave me that impression.
-
No. If you completed the heavy metal event you got to play the classes a week before anybody else.
The classes are open to everybody with the small patch tomorrow morning.

Thanks. Thought I was going nuts then!
