anyone that isn't a tank or a primary healer should abuse the shit out of it.

I just made a /assist macro and bound it to 'f' which was the default key from WoW lol. Not that I ever press it, because my DoT that ticks for 50 dmg isn't gonna kill anyone :D but it's good to have there for comfort's sake.

What really needs to be oragnised is more people on TS during ORVR or scenarios!

Dont agree. If you rule out some HoT with a DoT, it has its use, so even healers should use /assist.

About TS: thats what I said, lol. But maybe even more important is more ppl in the GAME first. Where did everyone go? E.g. Nushka and Nabal?

btw, Rubino, what was the addon you were using today? seemed interesting.
Did I understand it right that it constantly follows the target of your 'assist-buddy'?
could you explain again? also with 2nd target etc...   ???

I was playing with FocusAssist (http://war.curse.com/downloads/war-addons/details/cowboy-focus.aspx) essentially you click on who you want to assist and run a macro - it stickies the person and then you just use assist as usual.  The advantage is that it allows you to have a different person as a defensive target than who you are assisting - so if you have a proc  heal for player as part of your attack.

I've been looking at Assist addins and many fall short in one way or another.

I was looking for an addin that:

1) Follow Focus Assist - for setting who to assist & allows you to assist one person and have a defensive target for another.
2) Allows 2ndary assists - so you can set the 2ndary to a squishy and allows quickly switching to them should they take dmg
3) Uses a chat window to pass info around within the group - so all can use the same primary/2ndary assist.
4) Displays a graphic so you know who the primary/2ndary assists are - and displays when they are both taking dmg

Ah ok, then its not different from choffassist. I understood what you said yesterday wrong. Thought it switched assist target as soon as your assist buddy switched targets. Now that would be neat    ::)

No - it doesn't do that.
If I write one I was thinking of doing something along those lines.

Essentially it would use it's own channel for passing assist information across.

Just wondering if it's worth the time to write

Well, it WOULD be very cool. Don't know if it fits in the rules, though, cause it would give players using it a big advantage.
