Some movement on the alliance front has started I think :)
We have our thoughts and ideas, some that dont involve the NC at all - except maybe as targets - and I know you are thinking that one over (Too slow to remove mails from the wrong lists :D) and maybe heading up there to join the biggest carebears in 0.0 to make bank. (When I have more in my wallet than some alliances, the 0.0=bank pov really does present itself as a phallacy)
Id suggest stay in Pain, force ALL your members to move there and roam into Syndicate (still the best place to get noticed so to speak) and get pvp experience and join whichever alliance in whatever part of space as equals not as an isk faucet with no proper respect, and having to be used to as fodder for roamers/pos bashes.
Use hisec/lowsec incursions to feed your pvers (ratting is the most boring thing after mining) as looking around the rules for many renters, youd get screwed on Sanctum access (where the decent pve bank is to be made) regardless of who you joined.
Personally if you get all your corp to move to wherever you end up it will be a small miracle, as no offense intended, there was alot of bears in nerf and right across BC, and by bears I mean people scared to undock in anything fit for pvp let alone actually lock up another player, and getting those types to 0.0.... Unless of course you are focusing on indy and such?
This isnt to say that MAADI's guys were/are any better, we are just more open to helping people collect their insurance, as for our activity, we never said we were/are fully involved in EVE - its a swings and roundabouts thing for those of us who do play, and other games hit the radar from time to time. Hell as you know I went on vacation for 6 months last year and that wasnt good for anyone, least of all the burgeoning BC alliance - which had promise imo, but suffered from a lack of interest from the many and a swiflty burnt out minority of doers / me forgetting passwords and stuff.
Either way Sin, dont take any of the above as criticism, its just my POV of the way things are, if/when you guys go your way and we go ours, I know we still share some channels and will always have tales to tell - just dont tell me about good ratting/good mining/good pve as I'll just come and shoot the boats doing it ;)

Hya Mang, Saf, Hrod,
NERF must go to 0.0 and we must go soon. The time is there for our corp and we can't wait no longer... I am trying to initiate talks here and there to see if we can find a renting spot in 0.0 somewhere where we can go to and settle. You guys aren't very active at the moment, but I can't imagine you guys don't want to go back to 0.0... so I am telling you where we stand and with what I am busy arranging. Was wondering what you guys think and how you feel about it?

Follow up from Sin:
Thanks for the answer and that honesty :)
And NC was in the list indeed... am actually now talking to -A- to get the entire alliance moved up there. and that actually has my preference. To have the alliance rent a few systems (2 or 3) and to get our own "sov", but as a renter / pet indeed.
And staying in Pain is not an option... we will most definately bleed to death if we did so!
There is only one option for NERF atm. and that is to get our buts to .0 within the month... every other plan would result in a mass leaving (again) and we will not survive that. While if we moved out to .0 we can expect poeple to move back... which is good for us :)
So we need to go, no matter what. The answer is now how, where and with whom!
As I said I am seriously talking to -A- now and they say they can probably offer me a place for our alliance... but the renting manager is sleeping now (american)... so will chat with him a bit later. Probs tonight.
Lemme now if you are gain for something like that. And down south there is plenty of shootie things to do :)

Renting is all about the terms and fine print.
The original PL renters deal was reasonably fair, the second one wasn't (imo) very fair.
Same with the rzr one that Sin sent by mistake :P
(1bn isk for a system, no sov, no real rights to that system, pay for upgrades yourself etc etc etc)
Rent needs to be "easily" payed for by passive income sources. So if Sin gets a proposal from the russkies well we should ofc think about it. But my guess is that it will be fairly similar to the rzr one.
