Am downloading now for free Steam weekend, but didnt take time to read what this is all about really...
So is this player vs. AI, or PvP? (or coop too pretty plz?)

If MP, anyone interested of doing a bit of HoJ-RUSE?
Tonight is pub for me, but tomorrow - daytime/evening?

Free weekend for a RTS game thats released in September - you bluff rather than commit troops if you can etc its premise is very attractive to me.  The weekend lasts till 9pm GMT sunday.  Its skirmish and MP - a variety of sized maps are available.

Wont be on till laaaaaaaaaaate tonight - going to see Toy Story 3 :)

Catch me on Steam tomorrow during the day (Zapp brannigan night in eve tomorrow).

Played it a bit. Not blown away by it. Could be my way of playing, but the 'ruse' seems like it's pretty useless. Opinion may change with smarter than AI adversaries though.
But where will I find those?  :(

Was trying it against the Ai lastnight, need a little more practice to figure out some of the plays and I'll gve you a yell ;)

Netcode is stupidly fucked - and having a built in autokick on highping function doesnt help either :(

Was really looking forward to a few good sessions of this with Saffy :(

my guess is that the playing through steam fecks our pings up as it's not client to client, but client-steam-client prolly (or worse)

although that might mean that if steam is more quiet that then our pings are better? maybe try at a 'better' time?

steam is less busy now - if that is a benchmark for gamers that play ruse, we may have more success this time

nm, somehow license expired, not a whole weekend after all as many on ubi-forum feared
