Title: PI output purchasing program...
Post by: Mangala on June 02, 2010, 09:06:07 AM
We'll need one wont we - get cheap tower stuff from members for our posses?

Tyr raised it in chat and it got me thinking...

Yes it would be nice if we could get something like this working, simply since the supply might not be super and prices might increase significantly.

I don't have the time to look into it at the moment though. If someone is interested there should be some decent planets around the pos in gw. There were one lava planet in that system for example (might have moved or something but)

Had a brief chat with Tyr a few days ago about this.

He suggested maybe buying what we need from members at 25% under a stabalised market price (Jita average iirc) - will take a little bit of time for market to stabalise and CCP are yet to remove ALL npc orders...

I think that the 25% could work out best?

20-25% below sounds ok.

what sort of quantities is the corp looking for? and what does it presently pay? we might be better asking for people in the corp to tender for the contract to supply all the corps monthly requirements (PI production items not ice products) for a fixed amount?

One month uses at the moment:

Enriched uranium: 8640
Oxygen: 54000
Mechanical parts: 10800
coolant: 17280
robotics: 2160

However in the medium term it will increase by about 60% (2 new large towers) in the long term possibly more.
