Title: Apocalypse Navy Issue (PVE)
Post by: Mangala on December 10, 2009, 08:50:44 AM
So, finally got round to fitting it.

Tanks very well, throws out a sick amount of dps at mininmum range for its higest dps ammo - still does awesome dps with a mid range ammo too :)

Its a mix of T2 and faction as while I have a f***ton of faction, I dont have lots of each item (although I do have LP to burn....).  If I run one repper it is cap stable for an hour, 2 well as you can see its a bit daft, but i'll play about with it as I get used to flying it.  Also during my time away my armor tank should improve as I'll be working on maxing my armor compensation skills.

Nice! That dps is crazy!

Was wondering how 4 adaptive armor mods would work out though?

Having 2nd thoughts about my tank, may lose the eanm or a hardener eventually for another Heat Sink II, giving me even more dps.

Hell for group work I might go to 3, and hopefully thinks die faster than I get aggro ;)

74k ehp, resists go from 77% thru to 63% (em>Exp)  which is mainly due to the Imperial EANM's (I can use t2, but why own faction gear if you dont use it...)

With T2, its 75>60 across the resists and 70k ehp...

More heatsinks would be my advice :)

I feel the same, will be testing the ship over the next few days to see how it feels.

(In eft 2HSII ups it to 740 total dps :D)

About that...
Hate to be a partypooper, but...

Quote
To active armor hardeners: 3% bonus per skill level to Armor Explosive resistance when the modules are not active
To passive armor hardeners: 5% bonus per skill level to Armor Explosive resistance

Yes, which makes the SUPER!!!!! in conjunction with EANM.

Is it possible to get 3 heat sinks or 2 heat sinks and a tracking enhancer on there?

Edit:
I think i would try something like this if i found the tank was more than good enough and could be downgraded:

[Apocalypse Navy Issue, Prize]
Imperial Navy Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane
Imperial Navy Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane
Heat Sink II
Heat Sink II
Tracking Enhancer II
Reactor Control Unit II
Dark Blood Large Armor Repairer
Dark Blood Large Armor Repairer

Cap Recharger II
Cap Recharger II
Cap Recharger II
Cap Recharger II

Tachyon Beam Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency L
Tachyon Beam Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency L
Tachyon Beam Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency L
Tachyon Beam Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency L
Tachyon Beam Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency L
Tachyon Beam Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency L
Tachyon Beam Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency L
Tachyon Beam Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency L

Large Capacitor Control Circuit I
Large Capacitor Control Circuit I
Large Ancillary Current Router I

Federation Navy Hammerhead

Tracking enhancer lets me hit at 52km with multies. If replaced for a third heat sink II dps goes from 682 to 751(how you get 740 with only 2 i dont know, but guessing your dps would go close to 800 with 3 then.  :) ). With both reppers running cap last around 3 mins. One can run forever. And with only energized adaptives armor compensation skills will improve the tank(With my current skills and armor comp at lvl 2 i get 248/401 dps tank with 269/436 if i boost it to lvl 5).
