A new devblog regarding the upgrades and costs of sov.
Seems a system will cost around 2bn isk/month in upkeep costs and the upgrades so far look rather unimpressive.

After following the thread a bit it seems that at fully upgraded for anomalies the 10 or so will respawn instantly and rival lvl4s in income.

No answers on the other areas though.

having read the blog i must say i like the sounds of whats happening, to upgrade mining/industry those things actually have to be taking place in the system :)

i sense big corps moaning about it though as they are used to holding all the good stuff for themselves , hence the (in my mind) derogatory term for renters as "pets".

Yep... The problem is that since the systems will have 10-15 people (so far no idea if that is only from anomalies or from anomalies and everything else at max...) you need 7m/day and person for upkeep in that system.
We need a lot more information really.

Yes, I like that part as well.
But the population density/cost of system upkeep is a bit weird. Hopefully they might tweak the amount of anomalies and ofc actually fix the grav sites which might make it more worthwhile.
