Sorry to ask but activity has plummeted the last couple of weeks.
So have people grown tired or what is going on??

Trying to balance 3 mmo's with each other. In addition to other stuff for me.
I shall be on later today - want to muck about with the UI to get other builders going, and do some ratting while I grab market data galore for fountain and hopefully upload it to that tool that Rub is putting together :)
As for anyone else, not sure.
However a common phenomena in EVE is the 6 Month Hump, a time when players, both old and new start having doubts about time spent, or game aims and in some cases play time dries up (Ive gone through this a few times, first couple I got thru it, last one I went on an extended vacation in Asia!); its also the start of the summer season and all that brings (exams, holidays and such like), which will see increasingly less numbers online across the cluster. (No new player records happen in the "good" months due to both of these and even Sunday peaks drop massively causing forums for the game to have "woe is eve, eve is dead" posts :D)

Besides having to kick in some extra effort in my study, as to not make this year an utter failure confirming the dark side of playing MMO's... Cruising along on the downward spiral of less corpies online -> less enjoyment -> less ppl -> less enjoyment

Working 12 hr shifts 8 days on 3 days off at present.
Now we are in 0.0 im no longer able to do my semi afk mining style of things (its just to damn dangerous :o ) so whilst im pottering around the house getting the things done i need to im having to find another form of entertainment i can walk away from. At present thats a mix of LoTRO and Hearts of Iron 2.
When i get a little time where i can be online for several hrs at a stretch i shall be back to EvE but at present its a case of Log on, change skills , log off.
EvE is not forgotten and ill be there at some point ;D

One thing to note about the 6month hump - strikes newer and returning players the hardest. Newer players as unless they push themselves right towards a ship type/role then this is when the times of multi-week skills really really start kicking in, and the payoff becomes less obvious unless they stick with it; Returning players begin to have less "oo shiny" moments and more "what do I want to do?where do I go from here" moments following a few months catching up and often times rebuilding fortunes and material supplies.

HoI for some reason does not appeal to me that much (dunno why really, it looks good, the mechanics are nice, the time-period is interesting, so I don't know what it is), but, but I like many of your other games Dehn :) EU2 MP ate my soul for a long time, EU3 is very nice in MP, but Crusader Kings I love to play even in SP :) You should make a CK MMO ;)
In other news, lately I haven't been around in EVE (see my thread) that much, and won't be for the near future either. Was damn busy at work during the time the time the corp moved to 0.0, so I sort of fell off the train, add to that the fact that I have a short attention span... but I'll come back with vengeance at some point :)
