Been thinking about warhammer recently and I think they made a mistake in having the campaign across the 4 tiers as when subs fell they could not get enough ppl into all tiers.

They should have had battlegrounds in the first 3 tiers and the world pvp in the forth.

I loved tier1 bg's they were really good fun they should have released a limited client just for tier1 and I would have been happy free ofc.

that's just my ramblings.

Should have just had T3 as the final tier, it was epic. Bgs were fun too, but the keep holing in T3 was stunning.


As for private servers, I played on Nost PVE for a while, that was very well done. Very much the vanilla experience I fell in love way back, community was pretty good too.  Will be interesting to see what comes of them and Blizz having a sit down, hopefully they'll help blizz understand pristine servers shouldnt be an option as its not what vanilla fanboys such as me want from a game

(Wont play on kronos or other private wow servers, mostly as they all rock the pvp, and if I want good, interesting meaningful pvp I'll log into EVE )

Do I need to login to the game to shift my toons over, or can it be done from the account pages?

Can be done from the launcher dude, not from account management unfortunately. So all you really need is that

So the email you used is unrecoverable? If so that's awful.
Hopefully the provider or whomever can do something?  Would be a shame for all the time you spent on the game to go to waste (even if you rarely play it now, its still time spent in the past etc).

Transfer took 5 hours, but is done.

Kinhouse had to be repurchased, those who decorated it etc, stuff for that is now in your shared storage etc etc. Address is still the same, 5 long street, mellinch, bree land housing.

(And for fun Beo bought 4 Long Street for himself too).

looks like snowbourne will be the last server to get transferred according to lotro website.

On Monday December 7th we will open transfers off of Vilya.

At this time we will also be closing free transfers off of Brandywine and Evernight and switching to Arkenstone and Gwaihir.

Tuesday Dec 8th we will be opening transfers off of Meneldor completing the US closing worlds.

We are holding off on opening Snowbourn for a week or two as we add hardware capacity to our larger EU worlds to handle the load. It is possible this world may not be opened for transfers until we are in the new data center.

Work is coming to a close on this project and we hope to have a launch date for you soon once we have worked though the final testing of the environment.

Bloody infuriating is this.  I want to knuckle down and get some good play in, but while the transfer is up in the air, its hard to want to commit.  I know when I am on a more alive server, I'll certainly be more into playing, especially some of the more fun later content. (Cannot treat the whole game like a solo experience after all.) 

Shame its taking so long too, its really killing Snowbourn is this wait.

No way am I joining something like that hehe.

Yeah forgot to mention, corp invites are a thing now. Like guild invites randomly spammed in other games.

General feeling so far is that not much have changed, however can't find the darn contracts icon to look around there

E Menu above your portrait on the neocom, under business subheading iirc. You can drag its icon from there to the neocom.

Seems prices are up a lot... IIRC a hurricane was around 35m isk now its around 60.  What has happened to the market?

Lots of things, stemming from a good few years of changes - some good, some bad. Playerbase is down somewhat too, PLEX prices are high as well. Industry changing saw a considerable number of price alterations across the cluster most especially though.
