World of Warcraft Retail / Blackwing Lair Gear Runs

Ok HoJers. How many of you are subbed up and have Alliance toons on Aszune?

I'm in need of doing a few gear runs to Blackwing lair, as I really want to collect full Judgement armour on Kurtt for when Transmogrification hits.

Anyone up for this?

Well, it looks like Blizz has finally bit the bullet and implemented an appearance system in Transmogrification.

Anything that means I don't have to raid is awesome!

Now, who wants to come and raid BWL with me so I can get full Judgement?

Here's a proposed feature of the game that I really like:

Loot Containers

Basically, if you kill a boss in a raid, all players in the raid get a Loot Container which can contain either class armour, weapons, upgrades or badges. Takes some of the sting if you don't win loot rolls for boss drops.

Raiding for fun, not gear.

Just thought I'd share some of the nuggets of info that came from the developer meet and greet on day three of the SDCC.

Apparently, you can roll both faction toons on the same server.

I think this is good news for HoJ, as we can make sure we sync up with you guys who want to do THF and make sure we end up on the same server.

Also, PvP servers sound like fun!

So are we up for making sure that HoJ and THF end up on the same server?

Lord of the Rings Online / Moria Question

A quick question for you LotRO buffs.

Kurtt is 56, and has been stuck in Moria for what seems like an eternity. Wheres the best place to be to level in at this level. I can't seem to find a decent set of 'go here, kill stuff, get xp, and continue' quests, and I feel like I've gorund to a halt progression wise.

Any ideas?

The Dog & Duck / Transformers: Prime

Not sure if anyone has seen this, but its a new CGI Transformers series set after the events of the War for Cybertron game.

I've just watched the first 5 episodes, which were aired together as a mini-event.

Have to say, totally blown away by this, an amzing series so far. Initial line-up of Autobots are Optimus, Ratchet, Bumblebee, Arcee and Bulkhead (who appeared in Transformers Animated).

Go find it and watch it, you will not be dissappointed.

Back during my SWG days, I created a Rebel guild called Antarian Recon Commandos. This guild was inspired by the Antarian Rangers: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Antarian_Rangers

With the news that Troopers can now be Medics/Healers, I thought it might be cool to set up an RP unit of Troopers modelled after the Antarian Rangers. As we can have tanks, ranged DPS and healers, we can have all Trooper instance groups.

We could even do a seperate guild...

Let me know your thoughts.

Hey Chaps,

My Shaman, Arthanon is 85, and geared well enough for Heroics (apprently).

Before I dive into the scary world of Heroic Healing, I'd like to get some practice healing the regular versions of the dungeons.

I'm looking for four willing victi... err, volunteers to join me in some guild runs so I can polish off my healing skillz.

Any takers?
