The Internet Wayback Machine (I found old HoJ stuff)
« on: October 26, 2009, 04:50:27 PM »
http://www.archive.org/web/web.php

Quite an epic site - currently has 165million (or was it billion) pages archived...

But more importantly, look what i found:

August 1006(ish) HoJ site: http://web.archive.org/web/20060516142214/http://www.handsofjustice.co.uk/  (Taith - and Serapis from the THF forum will remember this variant of the site I reckon - especially Taith!)  or a later one:  http://web.archive.org/web/20061210063241/http://www.handsofjustice.co.uk/

http://web.archive.org/web/20060813202130/www.handsofjustice.co.uk/GuildCharter.html

http://web.archive.org/web/20070620102446/handsofjustice.co.uk/guides.htm

http://web.archive.org/web/20070620102848/handsofjustice.co.uk/membersguide.htm

http://web.archive.org/web/20060516142202/www.handsofjustice.co.uk/Karnival.html  (Karnival page).  Video is on youtube here:

http://web.archive.org/web/20060819225257/handsofjustice.co.uk/forum2/index.php  Aug 2006 forum frontpage - shame the links dont work...

This list:

Below are some interesting forum topics to get you started and involved with what is going on.
The you behind the Toon a collection of real life pictures of the HoJ members.
How did you Join? Have a look and see how other members got into the HoJ family.
The Three word Story – The title says it all see here for the story combined.
Selections from Guildchat – check here for an insight into what goes on ingame or when people are bored
HoJ Chronicles – HoJ history from the very beginning.

Kinda annoys me that when HoJ in wow and I went seperate ways with all the ensuing drama, that I had killed the forum like I did - memory suggests some great reads - including the story of how I started in all this :)

Just a note on this - the above are all links from the first SMF version of the site which at that stage was the 5th forum or so.... (I'd done 2 free forums (1 of which is still up), then a phpbb version on the domain, which i "fixed", then an SMF and then it died and then a second smf and then I left and DRAMA...).

What we did before Blizzard did armory stuff:

http://web.archive.org/web/20060819041022/www.handsofjustice.co.uk/roster/

2007: http://web.archive.org/web/20070608012559/http://www.handsofjustice.co.uk/

SMF second forum:

http://web.archive.org/web/20070620102736/handsofjustice.co.uk/forum2/index.php

On the archive, Sept 2007 entries to the end of that year are all out of service images (showing a short ginger dorf wandering off into the sunset :D), 2008 shows this:

http://web.archive.org/web/20080327060451rn_1/handsofjustice.co.uk/hojblog/

Which is the earlier version of our current frontend blog :)

www.archive.org is pretty cool..... it does books too (and loads of other things)! Try going to http://www.archive.org/index.php (without the web bit) and do a search on a book, its pretty good. Between that and Google Books you can search on almost any book and get it to display the PDF for it.

It actually looked better way back even in those colors, but I do agree with the sentiment looking at it now.

I R Badly Dressed Druid <3

I R also the one who proposed to the crazy female Belgian Nelf. Thank the lord that wedding didn't pull through.

What happened to Ashaar anyhoos. I got him a fluffy Click to travel the world with and the drug dealers in South America stole it. I sent him another one and then I never heard from him again. /sad
