Just got one of these - wish I had bought one of these sooner now.
Spent the last few years avoiding them as "everyone" else had one and I didn't want to follow the crowd. Went in to the local Car Phone Warehouse the other day and they traded my old phone for a fancy new 32GB 3GS - it rocks!

So, any must have Apps I should be getting?
Download, (amongst others!) Sky + App, Flight Control, Sheep Launcher!
Tempted by Sim City, anyone got it? Is it any good?

Skype is good for it, as you can make free calls when having a decent 3G connection or WIFI.

Classic Sonic the Hedgehog is awesome, as is Need for Speed. Also, iPity is vital for your on the go Mr T quotes :D

Play EVE and you can have several iphone apps :)

Play eve in a year or two and you can even login, skill change, fuck about on the market and generally annoy your corp mates.

Keep me updated on how the thing works out though - tempted myself as I wont really need a 160gb iPOD in asia next spring when all my music is coming on the laptop with me :)  And the idea of skype to save costs is a winner for me!

Cydia to jailbreak it, after that, download just about any hacked app through Pirate Bay etc, including cracked versions of navigation software. Obviously you didn't get it from me. ;)

Went for a Blackberry myself.  Had the original Iphone and didnt rate it that much. Currently on my 3rd Blackberry and love it.
