I like that kind of plugin. Thanks for taking the time to implement it!

WoW = picking daisies for an old pedophile in Stormwind City at level 5.

WAR = blowing greenskins out of the sky with a cannon at level 2.

I say WIN. :P

Also, I like the fact that you don't need to buy ammo!

I like the whole 'automatically deposit into the guild bank' thing.

What's a warcamp and at what level would you normally get there?

KH
Henk - Dwarf engy
Sjeng - Bright wizard

BL
Rupert - Goblin squigherder
Vashda - DE sorceress

Think I enjoy dwarf and goblin the best... seems they put more effort into those races.
Haven't played my sorceress yet as there are massive queues for everything evil on all servers it seems.

Considering going a healer class as I'm guessing we're going to need *some* healing in instances or something right?
If so, probably a sexy bald warrior priest rune priest!

So... to form a guild you need to have a couple of people at a register person at the same time. But how do you meet up if some people start as humans, some as dwarfs and some as high elves?

I'm in now... :)

Need to get a small fan to keep my laptop's temp down. Turned everything down low, looks crap, but hopefully I can get a new pc at some point!

See you in-game at some point!

Although a lot of players are still queuing to have their codes validated and our technical teams are still working to improve that process, we still want to share the eighth edition of the guild highlights with you

From the latest news post.

I'll try forcing the client again shortly.

[edit]
Oh em gee... it's patching now after accepting a login that it had denied about 15 times before...

Now installing DirectX as that gave me a dll error...

Registered Monday evening, my request was registered. As of yet, no confirmation.
Registered Tuesday evening (15 minutes ago), my request was registered. As of yet, no confirmation.

Client just keeps kicking me out after too many 'false' attempts to log in.

I'm getting Spore tomorrow.

A rl friend and myself both entered our codes yesterday evening. He says he got his email this morning and started his download before heading off for work. I haven't received anything yet.

So much for 'guaranteed open beta access' so far.

What annoys me about their communication at the moment, is that they're saying 'You HAVE to be patient'.

Excuse me? I will whine and bitch like any other customer who has been promised open beta access by buying a CE.
Don't tell me I have to do anything. That community manager should be crawling through the dirt, flinging apologies wherever he goes and not saying that I have to do bugger all, then crawl inside a hole until they fix it, only coming out of said hole to give us updates combined with even more apologies.

/rant

Poop, that's what I say. :)
The way this is going I might as well get the house all cleaned up and get my stuff done before Sunday so I can just take part in the head start right away. If they don't mess that up.

Alright. Thanks very much for the info. :)

Saves me from getting my hopes up and waiting all night.

I'm off to have dinner and do some cleaning then.

Might see you in-game tomorrow or Wednesday depending on how things go!

I entered my login details and open beta code on the page that's linked from the latest news message. It said 'my request to activate has been something'. Something positive anyhoo.

So I run the client, log in using the same details, and it says it's wrong. What am I missing here?
