Title: Failheap Challenge Ganknights
Post by: Mangala on January 23, 2009, 11:53:49 AM
Ganknights are run by guys from the Scrapheap-Challenge (http://www.scrapheap-challenge.com/) (A pretty good eve related forum, as long as you stay out of General, or whatever the hell its called this week!), its run by a guy called Calmdown, who is now CCP Claw (He runs the alliance tournaments).

The ganknights are basically a giant group of SHC posters, and whoever they drag along with them, that wanders over lowsec and 0.0 killing anything and everyone thats in their way, often times using local chat as fleet chat. If it isnt purple its fair game. So this means people will shoot corp mates, alliance mates, blues and neutrals in addition to reds all in the name of a good night out :) This has lead to innumerable attendee's being kicked from corps, havingt o reimburse alliance mates and the like.

There is usually two types of night:

*.0 nights - these are serious nights, involving serious fits (Faction night or tomorrow's Battlecruiser (http://www.scrapheap-challenge.com/viewtopic.php?t=22685) night), but still with some humor involved.

*.5 nights - "comedy" nights, semi serious fits or ship choices (ie AF night, or Destroyer night) with huge amount of humor thrown in. These nights usually end in fire, some form of homicidial suicide pact takes place or we find a camp we cant geta way from!

I posting this here as a thread I'll update after each night I attend, and hopefully over time I'll see more of us along on such nights, as they really are great!

Epic night.  Epic freaking night.

Posting Killmails to our board from the GK one: http://karbowiak.dk/kb/ganknight/?a=home right now, but I had a blast!

All kills I was involved in - bar one which has some sort of malformation error - are now up on our kB:

I'll break GK down in the am.

So its the morning after the night before.

A large portion of the fleet met up in Rens, outside the Brutor Tribe Treasury station there, we promptly took over local and spammed the shit out of it (this was to be a running theme for the remainder of the night), before our FC for the evening lead us off towards the lowsec meetup point (Ganknights always have two meet ups - one fore regular folk and one fore blinky reds who cannot enter hisec anymore).

By the time we were all together and heading for deepest Curse, we had 131 people in the fleet - the majority of whom where in drakes, although the less said about 4xSensor Boostyer fit 'Canes the better really! - we headed off towards Lj- getting a few good fights along the way, but mainly just seeing people run from us.

After we reached LJ- we moved on towards HED-GP, with a Razor Alliance group following us and looking at the kills I was on during that journey, some TCF too :D  That gang picked off a few stragglers, got ahead of us and dropped drag bubbles and the like, but using our mwd's we burned off bubbles and to gates all the while throwing missile spam at anything that got in range :)

In HED we tussled with the RZR guys again and tried to tempt a KIA gang to jump in and play too - we wanted a threeway ;) However wasnt to be.

We then decided to head over to the Misaba gate in R3- and camp it silly as a way to bring CVA and its friends out of the woodwork (its one of the main travelled gates in Providence, 3 or jumps from hisec Domain), although what the now depleted fleet (80 or so - dont go for a piss break that lasts longer than 5 minutes!) would do if they brought a massive gang as our spies in their intel channels suggested they would do...

And it paid off, they brought like 90-100 guys in battleships, HACs, HICs and a myriad number of other ships. We calmly set about killing them, suffering losses but inflicting more than we took, then they brought up reinfornements and we still kept on killing, although things began to get overwhelming. Until a handful of us was left, then I was locked by 20 or so of them and died in fire.

Great end to the night really, the 3hours we'd spent before that were worth the slight boredom when put up against the epically good fight that CVA and their buddies brought to us :)

Its just not a Ganknight if you dont die at the end of it - or mulitple times during it.

Very nice work :)
137 ish kills in the night!  Kudos!

What's up with our KB?  The home page isnt showing kills/losses, http://www.handsofjustice.co.uk/maadikb/?a=kills doesn't show anything recent and clicking the prev week only shows the Agony courses and losses only shows 1 for yesterday.  You ony get more info by going to the stats page.

Never noticed that, i'll nag the developers see what they say.

As for the loss - I only died the once, so we'll only see that loss :)

Leaked quotes from CVA's private killboard comments:

Quote
------------------------------
Well the boys from ScrapHeap decided to pay us another visit and this time it was in Drakes.

Call to arms was quickly made and we amassed a sizable fleet in S9X as our CF buddies came in to R3 from Misaba.

A fleet that peaked at 90 formed up in X8 on the AY gate and after catching a few stragglers we hopped into AY to find the entire CF gang about 10k off of the gate.

Mass carnage ensued, I got a few kills and even a KM (huzzah!) before catching a primary. All in all it was a good op and appears that we had an awesome K/D ratio, the kills are still coming in to the boards.

Submit your links for fraps or otherwise.

--Por ( LFA Diplomat )

( From my knowledge there was about 75 reds, about 90 blues.... we were alot lighter in terms of DPS / Tanking ability I think over all, but still waiting to get an accurate count. We killed pretty much the entire fleet, and lost around 40 blues

-----------------------------

Well commanded by XXXX. And yes they had more firepower, had the advantage of us jumping into them, and our fleet feeding in a bit over time. That said twas a fun fight. Well fought by both sides. They call it an epic win-but they lost their entire fleet-i'll do that every day of the week and twice on Sunday for mother Providence

-----------------------------

Dammit I missed the killmail whoring!

Anyway good work people.

-----------------------------

Bringing HICs, HACs and Recons (except for Falcons) to such a battle is not the brightest of ideas... Battleships are cheaper and more effective

Was a nice fight; catched primary immediately after jumping, but was repped up by friendly RR to 100% Armor. Then I was jammed for most of the time, but decided to let my Drones stay agressive and hunt some of the fukkers down instead of deagressing - worked fine until they eventually broke my tank

I also think that "Call to Arms"-things for a lol-Drake fleet are totally unnecessary.

The part I bolded, I dont think that he "gets" ganknight.

lol -the usual management spin.
53% effectivness isn't really an awesome K/D ratio and it looks like they had a mix of BS's, HAC's, HICs & BC's - so I don't see how their DPS & tanking was "lighter" esp considering they had remote reppers in their group.  Hacs & Hics have super tanks - the Onyx fitting I'm playing with has 120k EHP.

I also find it funny that their "call to arms" mustered 90 ships (so this is going to be their best response) and yet the guy says that it wasn't needed.  Doesn't that mean if they hadn't put out the call they would have had a smaller turn out...  20% less of them and it would have been about equal on both sides.

At Fanfest several of them actually do wear robes...

And on CVA, we are on the KOS list for Providence residents although not actually red to CVA directly :)  http://www.cva-eve.org/kos/index.php  Check for the corp by using search there.

GANK NIGHT 13.5

"Seriously...Whyy??"

Date: February 28th, 2009
Time: 22:00 Eve Time
FC: TBD
Highsec Meetup: TBD
Lowsec Meetup: TBD
Killboard: http://karbowiak.dk/kb/ganknight/
password : gank
Old GN Vids: http://ganknight.kungfoosheep.com/hosted/video/
In-Game Channel for invites: Ganknight Invites ( delayed mode so we can get more than 50)

Shiptype: Ships that aren't optimal. Ever. Fit for PVP though. Bring all your mallers, your rooks, augorors, exequrors, scythes, ospreys, bellicoses, moas, erises, or whatever else you can think of that just isn't *ever* optimal

Fitting Recommendations:

Fit a propulsion mod of the MWD variety. We will land in a bubble or two, being able to move through them is nice. People with afterburners will probably be left behind and killed. By gang members.

Fit for 12km range optimal. In a gang of standard Gank Night size, close range weapons are usually pretty worthless.

Fit some tackle and EW. Sensor boosters really don't help the gang that much. One or two is fine, 4 is a bit much.

Expect to die horribly in a fire, expect to shoot shit at least a little. If we die too soon we can always go back out.

Other things we need:
An FC. I am happy to do it, but if someone else wants to, thats fine as well.
2-3 backup target callers. If i am not the FC, I will gladly be one of these.
2+ people in dictors. WE NEED DICTORS. Hictors also are accepted.
TONS OF EW BRING TONS OF EW DON"T LET ANYONE LOCK OUR BUNCH

If I may guess, because it is T1, and thus inferior to any T2 cruisers (like say for example Devoter and Sacrilege, which are built on Maller chassis).
Title: Re: Scrapheap Challenge Ganknights

My guess is because it got resistance and cap usage bonuses instead of damage, rate of fire or range bonuses and is more a tanker than ganker.

We got DD'd by our future landlords!!!

http://www.handsofjustice.co.uk/maadikb/?a=kill_related&kll_id=311

Short GK :(

However when the delve intel channels are going nuts over us heading that way, and the FC is being tracked by his corp so they could set him up and DD the fleet he was leading, its bound to be expected.

Although when PL DD'd our fleet, they DD'd alot of goons too.

Destromath FC'd us into a PL camp full of Nightmares.  Was epic, but he pussied on killing Viper Shizzles nightmare when it was at 45% armor, so we mainly got raped in return. Except a handful of us who lived and looted stacks of t2 drones off the dead :D

More to come tomorrow.

Dual Prop TARANIS Night:

If you cannot fly a Taranis, then another racial interceptor or interdictor/heavy dictor will be fine.
Title: Re: Scrapheap Challenge Ganknights
Post by: Warcold on November 24, 2009, 12:19:30 PM
I will try to be there, but wondering whether to train Interceptor to IV (obvious bonuses) or High Speed Maneuvering to IV (less cap drainage from MWD). Only got time for one of these.
Title: Re: Scrapheap Challenge Ganknights
Post by: Mangala on November 24, 2009, 12:20:48 PM
HSM IV, lowering mwd cap usage is a better one across all ships you fly that may fit it, rather than intie IV which while great in itself is one where I'd say hold off on it unless you plan to live in inties for a while?

Roamed Delve, then went to Fountain.

Things we saw on the trip died faster than most could lock :S  Was stupid lag on jumps too :( It was like 2007 all over again!

Then we ended up in that IT camp - goons AND a tri roam were in system/constellation too.

The lag really ruined the end fight, but I did enjoy mooching about in Minnie ships.

Title: Re: Scrapheap Challenge Ganknights
Post by: Mangala on June 07, 2010, 11:18:28 AM
Epic ganknight was epic.

The meet started HOURS early - and involved a mad conga line in Autaris.  Over the hours more and more folks hsowed, TS was bouncing - mainly criticising the AT8 commentators.  Left eventually, grabbed the flashy folk from Jan and moved off into Tribute.

Where things went DOWN!

We came across a Cry Havoc gang filled with T3 ships, so we shot at them. Laggy was fuck was that fight but we killed LOADS of them for a handful of losses on our side.  They left the field and we heard of a Morsus Mihi Ragnarok Titan 1 jump back alone - yes its bait, but TITAN! So we headed back to shoot it, while calling up Pl/Habit/CH - anyone we knew good at hotdropping to come and kill it with us.  That didnt pan out - turns out CH were pretty butthurt...

So we shoot the titan for a while - 70 or so drakes do alot of damage - then the NC support starts to show up (Chee the titan pilot didnt ask for help he was doing this for lulz, but the rest of the NC got worried like little sheep), 200-300 support craft and 3 MORE titans.  Titans start popping our logistics, while everything is again lagged (new pcu of over 60000 didnt help) and things go to shit, lots of us die, rest get lagged out and eventually we group back up in Taisy/Jan to count our dead...

That wasnt the end, that was just the end of the 1st HOUR!

Round 2 started and off we went to Fountain - didnt see much, then we roamed Delve, again quiet. Ended up in Period Basis attacking a Golem with some of its blues who were on ganknight and a handful of our composition. We were trying to bait eastern europeans into dropping caps on us as they like to use them to rat/10-10's etc, however after an hour of this we gave up and raeped the Golem - 3billion isk fittings :D  1.5b of which dropped.

All in all best ganknight ive had for ages - oh and my draek survived :D

So, unofficial ganknight lastnight.  SHC got invited to No.Mercy's birthday roam :)

Was an epic night all in all too! Provi was fun as ever. Game had minimal lag and no module lag - yay for ccp applying small fixes all the time lately.

Quote
short backstory: today is no.mercy's first anniversary of the corps founding, and with only about a week of notice we ended up turning our celebration from a corp roam into a good old fashioned gank night that blobbed into 0.0 to hopefully poke some fights

Fleet forms up, we hit about 80 in fleet mostly t1 armor afterburner cruisers but the assorted random shit too including an ashimmy (it died ofc), we fly around providence chasing red blobs on the map and intel and getting some ganks on the way

I designate the 20man Quam Singulari portion of our fleet 'Strike Eagle 77' and entrust secondary Fcing of this elite squad to Admiral Malet. As they were all at a corp LAN party, the admiral promptly solidified his rule by forcing them to take a shot each time we jumped a gate, then crop dusted them mercilessly on the way to the bar. Excellent I think, everything is going according to plan.

A lot more rambling and ganking and drunken whining and we hear reports, "47 man drake gang in 4b-non, waiting for you!" Looking forward to our certain deaths we fly straight there, jump in, discover to our dismay its more of a 20-30 man sodalitas xx drake gang, and worse, theyre sitting 60 off gate Sad I painfully make the cowardly decision to warp off, and try to get a warp in so we could get up close and reap havoc. Our only inty dies getting the warpin.

I was promptly smacked by everyone for forgetting this was a suicide fleet, and we warp back to 0 to discover they are hiding in a safe. This will not stand, says I, and I take us to JEIV to camp their home station to force them to fight. It works! they jump bridge home before we get there and we let them get to range, jump in, and the battle begins Smile

What followed was a extremely entertaining fight where we burned off gate after the drake game in our clusterfuck ("afterburner cruiser") fleet which apparantly was half MWD fit and run down the retreating drake army who fails to keep any kind of range from us. Pewpew ensues and to our delight sodalitas continues to reship and warp in more hacs and drakes as quick as we are killing the ones on the field.

We o7 them for their courage and loot the field, but whats this?! The drake gang has reshipped to a close range armor bc fleet with 7 guardians and they are camping our out gate!

They lack any dictors so we jump through into XHQ and pull them to us where round two is begun at 0. Sadly this round is much shorter as the FC quickly realizes his instapopping guardians arent going to hold reps and they deaggroe and jump while we pick off stragglers.

http://www.nomercycorp.com/killboard/?a=kill_related&adjacent&kll_id=15613

We return to Assah after I can no longer stand the constant, desperate pleas to "drop loot", take a bio and are back out with about 50 this time to find more pewpew.

Our search more or less fails and we end up in north stain, chasing one alliance rally point after another but IKILU and -A- wouldnt fight our t1 cruiser gang. In the end we warp to planet 1 in whatever the fuck system IKILU is living in in stain, drop fleet, and have a good old fashioned free for all Smile

Im proud to say for the free for all and the random IKILU's warping in to whore mails, there were no survivors Smile

http://www.nomercycorp.com/killboard/?a=kill_related&kll_id=15639
^should be 'mostly' up to date

I want to give a big shout out to everyone who helped make our birthday so fun, not the least of which sodalitas for fighting us not once but twice, the SHC crew for doubling our turnout, everyone who FRAPsed it, Ask Unbeatable for his live stream, quammie and their lan party, and last but not least my corp, happy birthday guys (and lady) !

My KB listing for the kills I whored onto:

Most likely a Saturday - 6th November is winning.   Lasers is the theme and its a serious night so no comedy fits ;)  Inties can/would be excepted from this rule iirc.

FC's report:

Quote from: MirrorGod
GLORIOUS SUCCESS OF CRAPHEAP.

Our roam started by thrusting furiously into Curse and gunning down a STATEGIC CRUSIER in the middle of his fucking beauty pageant.  The friends that stood  by him while camping RAN AWAY URGENTLY.

We then roamed around aimlessly for awhile ganking stragglers as is custom to the scrapheap; and we even managed to kill a friendly vagabond on accident as he yelled loudly in TS about it.

Finally, MASTER NAVIGATOR Intigo led us to Y-M where we entered into an ORGY with Evoke, CVAfags, and some other randoms.  We did alot of warping, alot of dieing, and alot of ganking.  In the end the other two fleets pussied out, leaving Scrapheap the loot.

THE FIELD WAS HELD.

After this, the evoke fleet got some balls and raced us home.  We killed some of theirs and got our gaymoar blown up, and everything was wonderful.

GF Scrapheap!

As for me, I enjoyed it despite not getting on many mails thanks to being in a basi, that didnt live long during the main engagement - bubbled to fuck, primaried by 13bs and the other logis just getting to me as I went down :(

Get maxing those rocket skills chaps.

http://www.scrapheap-challenge.com/viewtopic.php?t=37717

Next Ganknight is after the next expansion and is a rockets night.  Preferraly on the amarr AF the venegance, but im sure crows, maledictions, hawks etc will be welcome, as they are rocket platforms after all.

Looks like maxing rockets and t2 variants will be next on my list in a few days.

Havent really checked if I can make this yet (and as our nov/dec schedules are usually filled nice and rich, prolly not), but have been looking at optional ships/fits. I'll not be able to train both T2 rockets AND T2 Amarr frigs, but I would be able to fly this:

[Breacher, tourney frig]
Ballistic Control System II
Ballistic Control System II

Stasis Webifier I
1MN MicroWarpdrive II

Rocket Launcher II, Phalanx Rage Rocket
Rocket Launcher II, Phalanx Rage Rocket
Rocket Launcher II, Phalanx Rage Rocket
[empty high slot]

Small Low Friction Nozzle Joints I
Small Low Friction Nozzle Joints I
Small Low Friction Nozzle Joints I

Rough modification of a (T1)tourneyfrig I once built, but it looks nice enough - if you turn a blind eye to EHP that is. With all skills @ V, this lil baby will do 132 dps, which is quite on par with some AC-AFs I've built before. It's fast and agile too, so that's a nice plus. Don't come near (stealth)bombs or sneezes though...
Range of the T2 rockets is 9k.
Title: Re: Scrapheap Challenge Ganknights
Post by: Mangala on November 16, 2010, 03:15:14 PM
That looks pretty good - im still toying with setups for all the rocket ships I can fly, and waiting for t2 rockets to hit my skill plan before changing them into the setup.

Reminds me, need to check if t2 rockets themselves are being changed like t2 gun ammo - 25% penalties instead of 50% and various damage increases etc.

Aye, only saw a handful of bombs and most of us didnt get hit that much by them (not using mwds on gates etc).

The night was really good fun, pretty serious business compared to most others, although a distinct lack of bubbles till later in the night.

Hell it went north and we didnt get supercap blobbed or see any blobs really.

Got on 3 kills:

And then got killed by a tower - we got given so many different spellings of the password that a fair few of us did!  Started to wander back home alone through the North in a Pod, until they had to break 10 bubbles out to get me and a bunch of BS. I love the North!

Ganknight itself went on to have a big fight against some MM guys and DIAF - kinda a gutted I missed it :(

Step 1. Use cloaker to get warp in thats in alpha range of a group.

Step 2. Warp to cloaker at 10 or so.

Step 3. Lock up whats aligning to come get you with its mwd on.

Step 4. Alpha it.

Step 5. Warp off laughing in local.

Step 6. Die trying it a second time as Red Fed wised up.

Yes, I would miss the class to roam about in a crow :)

OSOM night!

Had to hurry to make this after the Agony class, which didnt have a roam but covered the really interesting aspect of fly-by fleets. I think both I and Rexorr got enthusiastic about this and will deffo try to make a fleet or two with this :)
I slammed together a fit and sped towards Bosena, which was the losec gathering point. Our first destination was M-M (GW), where our (now former, prolly) friends of the Republic Alliance live. Our first kills were near there actually, when we managed to catch a few battlecruisers and below in one system, and a Blackbird in the next - showing that intel in the region aint too good. After that our route swung north (and not south, which would've caused Wongnim a heart attack prolly, so might have been for the good all things considered) into Geminate where our scouts found a POS where some players were mucking about outside the shield. With our strength in numbers and agility, we braved the POS guns and got 8 or so kills of cruisers, battlecruisers and t2 cruisers. We lost a few ships there, incl Mang's, but the fight was a clear win!
While Mang was picking up a new ship we moved on, killed a few transport, another BC and a t2 frig, mucked about in a station for repairs of ships and bladders, and moved on, to our next fight in M-M (the Geminate M-M this time), where Mang had just rejoined us - right in time to get some killing blows on a few smartbombing battleships and kill a few more BC's. Funny enough, this was the same alliance (and a few of the same ppl) as the guys we raped at their POS. Apparently they didnt learn anything from their first encounter with us, especially because they brought smartbombs to kill longrange frigs  :D
Our last stand was in BWF where we met Bricksquad alliance with an annoying amount of Hound stealthbombers (that didnt do much damage but annoyance really) and quite some BC+ stuff. Our thinned out fleet (we started with ~70, but at that moment were with about 45) still managed to kill 17 of their ships before we buggered out. A lot (incl Mang and me) in our pods, but quite a few in their ships too.

All in all I had a crackin night!

Close range shield fits. Blasters, ACs and Pulses.

Fuck rails.

Anyone who deviates from this will be kicked from fleet and primaried.

I guess thats what you get for continuing to kill npcs when neuts enter local instead of getting somewhere safe.  :D
My first ganknight and it was fun. Will be signing up for more in the future. Hopefully with some better overview settings and ships with longer range and faster locking. :)

cool well it looks like we have some people coming... probably the saturday (tho i know some people like sundays etc).

WhatI need is one mindlink damnation / loki / legion volunteer for armor links.

preferably a couple of hero guardians (tbh we need about 30 but... yeah, right).

Everyone else should be more or less in cruiser ish ships - it wont be a "proper" armor hac night because that's too expensive so we'll do omens, harbs, zealots etc. Taht also opens it up to munins, ishtars (tho lol on your drones, tbh), maybe even thorax/deimos.

Some people in SBs is fine, retributiosn etc...

just as long as we're armor tanked with an afterburner I guess.

Other important thing is, if you can use drones, bring armor drones... if we cant have all the guardians, we can at least fly with armor drones, yes?a single flight of mediums or smalls would be nice, cos then with 50-80 in gang (hopefully), that's some serious RR ownage there without the logistics guys missing out on all the fun.

Not the best GN.

I died early on as did many and reshipping was difficult as we were in deepest Catch :(

Does sound like the rest of the night got better - Ralara is still a random FC though :D

Quote
basically, ewoks were forming up but took too long... got word of a NCDOT "honour" fleet which chased us... popped some of their dictors but some of us got caught in their bubbles... not helped by our own dictor who bubbled a neut falcon but caught our entire fleet... NCDOT landed and ... we scattered... lost a lot of people there Ewoks and NCDOT almost boxed us in but we got out.

Ran from them, they apparently ran out of jump fuel to continue chasing us... went to querious / delve area... had a nice couple of fights with FAIL alliance with their BCs and scimis.

First battle, we caught a dictor 180km off a gate, i stupidly warped to it to get on the km, at that stage their fleet landed in the other direction, I couldn't call targets... Gaiden called for the fleet, he did a good job.

went back and forth, eventually got a warp in on them...

... got quite a few kills, almost no losses \o/ Excellent scouting and warp in points from Moe allowed us to repeatedly land on top of them and point lots without a dictor present.

Then headed in to Delve, was warping around 319 area... PL did a nice cloak-bubble-cyno and caught our entire gang like 40km off a gate... totally raped when they titan bridged right on top of us outnumbering us and out piloting us... nothing we could do there... lost like 20-30 people there ><

i got killed at that point.

whats the skinny on SHC? where did it go to?

Calmdown says "i cba to pay for it anymore, 70 a month for a dedicated box for a site i dont care about anymore is fuuu", we say "xx or yy person will take it over", he says "nooo pms and hidden forums will be uncovered and there will be spais and rage", we say "noooo we are a community and we dont care", someone else says "dare ya, double dare ya",

calmdown goes "lolololololshutdowneverything".

An hour later FHC is born, and im a mod... ;D

And the rest of the main shc community shows up there and things get back to normal just on a new site.  SHC's community proves stronger than most would think.

[Crow, Mangala Solaris's Crow]

Overdrive Injector System II
Overdrive Injector System II

1MN MicroWarpdrive II
Warp Disruptor II
Sensor Booster II,Targeting Range

Standard Missile Launcher II,Caldari Navy Bloodclaw Light Missile

Like 60k+ range on the standards.
Title: Re: Scrapheap Challenge Ganknights
Post by: Warcold on April 11, 2011, 06:34:23 PM
decided to swap MWD for AB and most of my pains were over.

came up with this:

[Crow, New Setup 1]
Ballistic Control System II
Co-Processor II
Damage Control II

1MN Afterburner II
Sensor Booster II, Scan Resolution
Warp Disruptor II

Standard Missile Launcher II, Bloodclaw Fury Light Missile
Standard Missile Launcher II, Bloodclaw Fury Light Missile
Standard Missile Launcher II, Bloodclaw Fury Light Missile
[empty high slot]

Small Auxiliary Thrusters I
Small Low Friction Nozzle Joints I

still does 1500 m/s
scan res script is just for km whorage, can dump script in an instant or swap for targeting range in 10 secs.

but will think about your fit too, looks ok, but the two OISs in lows do feel a bit poor-man's to me... my cpu doesnt do much better though...

Title: Re: Scrapheap Challenge Ganknights
Post by: Warcold on April 11, 2011, 06:49:29 PM
hmm, looking at your fit better: does your targeting range match up with your missile range? might want to put in a sig amp and tweak a bit in mids to get cpu for it.
my take on your fit:

[Crow, gn]
'Mendicant' Signal Booster I
Overdrive Injector System II
Damage Control II

Phased Monopropellant I Hydrazine Boosters
Sensor Booster II, Scan Resolution
J5 Prototype Warp Disruptor I

Standard Missile Launcher II, Bloodclaw Fury Light Missile
Standard Missile Launcher II, Bloodclaw Fury Light Missile
Standard Missile Launcher II, Bloodclaw Fury Light Missile
[empty high slot]

Small Hydraulic Bay Thrusters I
Small Warhead Calefaction Catalyst I

one range, one dam rig, as i dont need all that range on the missiles really
57.1 range on these t2 missiles with my skills
Title: Re: Scrapheap Challenge Ganknights
Post by: Mangala on April 11, 2011, 06:50:55 PM
Target 60km, missiles, 66.  On my current setup.

If I switch to Bloodclaw Fury, then I get 60 missile range too.
Title: Re: Scrapheap Challenge Ganknights
Post by: Warcold on April 11, 2011, 07:05:19 PM
this would sooo own a crow in GN if only it's missile velocity was higher, low missile speed means hardly getting on any km, so bin this

[Hound, pvp bomb-less t2 copy 1]
Ballistic Control System II
Ballistic Control System II
F85 Peripheral Damage System I

1MN MicroWarpdrive II
Sensor Booster II, Scan Resolution
Sensor Booster II, Scan Resolution

Siege Missile Launcher II, Bane Rage Torpedo
Siege Missile Launcher II, Bane Rage Torpedo
Siege Missile Launcher II, Bane Rage Torpedo
[empty high slot]
[empty high slot]

Small Hydraulic Bay Thrusters I
Small Hydraulic Bay Thrusters I

65 km range, 545 dps, 4900 alpha
but 4k vs. 8k missile speed :S
