Star Wars: The Old Republic / Do We Want to Raid? (Operations)

OK, so I've been thinking about this for a while now. I really want to see all the content this game has to offer.

According to various Bioware sources, a raid/operation should take about 3 hours to complete. I can quite easily manage that at least once a week, without evoking the wrath of she who must be obeyed.

I'd love to do this on a casual basis, and try and avoid getting to seriously into it. Having said that, I haven't felt this keen to raid since TBC and the start of WotLK.

What are your thoughts? Do you see HoJ as a casual raiding guild, or is our player base to disparate?

(Thinking about this at 03:15 with a temperature and chest infection doesn't help really...)

Got an email from Biowares this morning stating that they were starting to deploy guilds to server.

This is very cool, as it looks like the data centres and live servers are up and running!

So, I was thinking how cool it would be of SWTOR used the name, appearance and class of your alt characters to create customisable companions.

Star Wars: The Old Republic / The Last Alliance

I found TLA on SWTOR.com, and thought it might be a cool idea to join up with them in an alliance, considering we have a lot of shared history in Lotro, and they seem like a good bunch of folks.

I've shot a PM to their leader to discuss.

Star Wars: The Old Republic / Guild Rivalry

While I was at Gamefest last week, I got chatting with a couple of guys from a long time gaming community called Enigma.

They plan on going Sith, and I've been chatting with the blokes I met via the forum. A couple of days back, their guild leader asked me if we'd like to consider setting up a sort of in-game rivalry, as they'll be Sith and we'll be Republic.

Coupled with the announcement today of Phase II of the guild program, and guild rivalries, would this be something we'd be up for?
