Alliance Chat: Why can I not speak in it?
« on: October 19, 2008, 08:26:23 AM »
Since we are now in The Black Hand, the alliance we have formed with The Black Regiment, we have access to a new ingame chat channel which is based upon a persons rank within the alliance, not within their guild structure.

There are five (5) ranks as far as the alliance goes:

Alliance Leader (Guild Leaders get this title automatically)
Alliance Officer
Alliance Member
Alliance Initiate
Alliance Hopeful

The top three (3) ranks are all able to speak in /a while the bottom two (2) can only view the channel, not respond.

Hopefully in time we will be able to extend this access to all of you, however for now, to lessen channel spam we are currently giving Alliance Member rank to you, our fellow's in the guild on a case by case basis, primarily the rvr lovers amongst us and those who tend to organise events (impromptu and/or planned) have been given this ability so far, in order to increase the pool of available players for events and such.

Should you believe you need access, just /t me in game (on Beosvir, my alts cannot grant that permission) and we shall discuss granting you access.
"May God stand between you and harm in all the empty places you must walk."
