Station Containers
« on: December 12, 2008, 04:48:05 AM »
I happened to be in HQ and noticed that some had been seeded :) so i bought all 18 for our use.

They are in the "stuff" box for those who need them.
"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money." Josiah Stamp (Governor Bank of England 1928-41)

These are (mainly) for miners, right?

Btw, after you have deployed one of those and anchored it, does it stay around for ever? Also, can you reuse it, or is it like a jet-can that it is destroyed after it gets empty?

I think if you don't access it for 30 days it will be removed by the servers.  Was a time when most belts had hundreds of these little buggers.  I think they made an exception for the EVE graveyard but I'm not sure.

your thoinking of "secure" containers those are deployable and anchored in space , requiring anchoring I to use.

Station containers are used to tidy up the junk you may have gathered, i.e. i has one for salvage, 1 for each module type (high, medium, low) etc these stay in the station they are in and cannot be moved.

there were 19 more for sale, so i bought 5 for myself

The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.'
