Can I still enter the open beta? and is it worth entering the open beta? Heard good things about this around the net...but need to hear it from the horses mouth as so to speak

And follow zee instructions.

It is a good game - just put aside the "wow did this, wow did that first" thoughts and you'll be set.  The game is pretty much an amalgamation of all thats good about fantasy MMO's lately combined with a dev team that actually listens to its playerbase, and a class system that is awesome for its versatility.

I'll be on voice from 6pm this evening when OB opens so guys feel free to jump on and we can chat about this, or I can answer questions if you do play etc.

hmm, ive created an account and beta profile, but it tells me I need to be invited to a beta, or have pre-ordered etc.

Any other way i can get a key?

the client doesn't take as long as you may think it will took me 2 hours on a 8 mb connection.

may roll a char on the server you mentioned look out for meral or melos.you never know we may get as far as the first instance. :)

you should get a email at some point pointing you to the client or just check your account as the client will turn up there.

they want as many people in the open beta as possible so dont think you need a key anymore your account will just become flagged for it.

Nice!  Im also going to roll a cleric - druid maybe, or bard - to give those a try over the OB.  Guardian side on Blightweald as per Mangala.

My bro is also trying OB.

Pidge is downloading it too. Are all of the HoJ lot on the same server/faction then? If so it looks like some guild instances are in order if us 2 can frame ourselves and catch you all up level wise.

i think most of us will be starting from scratch as my chars are on a different server.

first instance is at about lvl17 guardian side as ped mentioned server=blightweald faction=guardian
