While that doesn't sound good..

I really fail to understand why you need 3 tank classes..

Anyone want to do a review on the differences between the 3?  Because I have no idea!

I had a go at building a web-app that would pull all the battlefield map together, so you didnt have to click on each one..

However the Wardb developer used a load of JS functions and stuff..       I kind of got it working but it wasn't pretty!

I'll go back to it this weekend..

I've got my own hosting, so i'll shove it on there.

I'll update this thread, when done :)

I know you're doing a career statistics update, but I thought i'd do another of people 19 or over..    (ie not alts)

Because while its nice to have even numbers of careers accross the guild, right now it would be nice to have even numbers in the T3/T4 content bracket.

So..

Warrior Priest - 10
Ironbreaker - 9
Rune Priest - 8
Shadow Warrior - 6
Bright Wizard - 6
ArchMage - 4
Witch Hunter - 4
White Lion - 3
Engineer - 3
Sword Master - 2

Therefore my suggestion is to avoid recuiting classes like "Warrior Priest", "Rune Priest" and "Ironbreaker".

But to concentrate on "Sword Master" especially,  with some love for "Engineers" and "White Lions"

My opinion anyhow :)

Very nice, very nice!!

I love one of the priest healing animations,  in the 2nd of your "flashy effect picture"..

Looks like you've got a 2-bladed-lightsabre!

But in the same picture, what in hell is the other effect to the left?     Looks like something Pretender (WP) is doing, but i dont recognise it :)

I'm definitely going to have to get into a Halloween PQ,   looks fun :)

PS.   I had a 212k healing romp on Warrior-Priest the other day..     I spammed Martyrs blessing literally non-stop and woot! :)

New T4 Scenario with 10% Renown bonus!     ooooooooh! Sounds good :)

I wonder if they can actually make this one fair-game :)

This is what WOW used to do with its Card-deck thingy game and Seasonal events...

But they can get away with it, because the game is based on comical characters / general humour

Warhammer is far more serious in its nature than WoW,    so I dont think gimicks like this have any place what-so-ever!

It'll be entetaining to see someone in Altdorf in 2 years time,  who has a Trophy for every single EA Game he's brought :)

Sigh...

The T4 changes appear to be quite important..

It implies that in order to take a particular zone in T4,  you can only get victory points for doing the scenarios associated with that zone..

We all know that only "Serpents Passage" pops in T4,  which is in the Elf lands..

So potentially if Order/Destro want to capture the Dwarf / Empire zones, then they need to start queueing for the other scenarios?

maybe i'm wrong,  but thats how I read it..

Also..

If IDD = Indeed

and you've just spared yourself the trouble of writing those 2 e's

Why not just sod the whole confusion and just say YES!  :)

Unfortunately I can confirm we're only 5% into Rank 14 :(

I just found out that "ACRONYM" is a ACRONYM

Meaning ...

"Abbreviated Coded Rendition Of Name Yielding Meaning"

Now that could be made up,  but it sounds cool..

It also raises the question..

What is the real word for an ACRONYM, when ACRONYM is a ACRONYM :)

RARH!! *brain slowly melts*

PS.  I've always read it as Indeed too :)

The Dog & Duck / The golden years revisited!

Hey guys,

When I found this yesterday, I have to admit that a little bit of wee came out!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ScummVM

Some of the my earliest and greatest memories are associated with the games that this emulator supports..

In fact I personally think anyone who hasn't heard of "Monkey Island" should be kicked from the guild for lack of proper education!

My personal favourites have to be..

"Beneath the Steel Sky" -    Amazing storyline!   Just amazing...
"Day of the Tentacle" -  Oh just wow..
"The Secret of Monkey Island"...
"Simon the Sorcerer"  - Asparagus jelly anyone?
"Lure of the Temptress"

And what is better..    if not..  just too good to be true!..

You can port this Emulator on to so many different platforms..

I have it working on my iPhone,  my PSP and I would of got it on my Wii if I had it modded!!

I'm taking an indefinite break from Warhammer while I relive my early-years!   (when until the 80's graphics burn a hole in my brain!)

PS.   If anyone needs to find the game-files for any particular game,    message me in-game or go to your favourite torrent site :)

ENJOY!

At first I thought it looked fake,   however now i'm not sure!   It looks legit..

What you guys think?

PS.  I in no-way suggest anyone explores this in practice,  or you may find yourself without an account :)

Edit:  Unfortunately embedding the YouTube doesnt work, you need to visit YouTube itself!  Dont ask me!

Edit 2:  Sorry, but you'll have to DELETE the 2 from the URL, when Copy/Paste for it to work!   I couldnt stop the Forum from turning it into a Steamed video!

As far as I believe,   you get Victory-points from the following (in order of highest to lowest)

1)  Open RVR (Capturing Keep/Towers,  Holding Keep/Towers)
2)  Scenario Wins
3)  PQ's completed

So I would suggest we focus on the Keep/Towers and while we won't ever be able to influence how many Scenarios we win or how many PQ's are completed,  we're pretty much doing as much as we can!

In the end,    it doesn't really matter if we DONT control the zone,     we just need to do enough so that Destruction cant :)

I shall come!   Either with Envicta (WP) or Herb (Eng)

Envicta is probably the way to go,  as he's recently picked up Martyrs Blessing,    giving me a 30-yard-channeled heal for everyone in the Warband..      So a lot of healing potential there,      great for soaking up AE/DoT type damage..

However if we're lacking in T2 numbers,  I'll come with DA HERB!!!

This is very much a "nice on paper, probably fail entirely in practice",  but thought I'd see what people thought..

Now that we're beginning some kind of "scheduled" keep-raid in T2/T3,     I was thinking about how many raids you'd need to do to keep the entire 3 empires locked down.

In my opinion, with the new keep changes (made it a lot more difficult right?), then potentially then Keeps are only going to be switching hands maybe 1-3 times a week?

So here's the mad suggestion..

What if HoJ (ie Beo) was to approach the other guild leaders (or alliance leaders) and suggest some kind of UNITED schedule for raiding keeps..

If HoJ were assaulting a Keep with 2 WB's every week,  with other guilds/alliance doing the same on the other days..

Then potentially,  we've got an amazing war effort going on..

I'm sure someone in the future will propose something similar,    so I thought HoJ might want to lead the way!

Ta,

Envicta
