If you wonder where I disappeared suddenly...
« on: November 30, 2009, 06:58:22 AM »
I got a massive allergic reaction during the weekend after dinner (when I was playing LOTRO; noticed suddenly I had difficult to breath and to see the screen -> eyes, lips, fingers had all swollen and I had urticaria all over my body), and had to get to the hospital. Could barely breath when I got there, but got good care. I am home already, but not that fit yet, my fingers are still like small balloons.

I am allergic to nuts, but the meal I had wasn't supposed to have them. Not quite sure what caused the reaction thus, which makes this slightly more confusing.

rest up and milk the sympathy i say ;)
"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money." Josiah Stamp (Governor Bank of England 1928-41)

'Our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others. Past and present. And by each crime, and every kindness, we birth our future.'

'We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection.
The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.'

Ouch dude, that sucks :(

I occasionally get urticaria on my head after insect bites, but never all over.

We shall have to start call you Job!

I intend to get back online tonight. I really want to get Fitzer to 41 so that he can slot the legendary skill :)

I am pretty much ok now, except left hand is still all swollen sore (I had the canula insterted on the left hand in the hospital (through which the medicine was infused), might be because of that). I hope it will be just fine to hammer the keyboard :)

Smart thinking!
If you'd had them put it in the right hand you would have trouble mousing with it.  ;)
