Trial Ops Run - Eternity Vault - Sunday 4th March @ 19:30 GMT
« on: February 29, 2012, 09:43:05 AM »
Ok folks, it's time to put our money where our mouth is and give SWTOR raiding a go. As such, I'm planning on leading an Ops run this coming Sunday night at 19:30 GMT to The Eternity Vault.

If your 50, and reasonably geared (more blues/customs than greens), then please express your interest for the run here. We will need the following for an 8 man Ops group:

Tank (Melee) - Kurtt
Tank (Ranged) - Mangala
Healer (Sage) - Temon
Healer - Thela
DPS (Melee) - Yyan
DPS (Ranged) - Caradir
DPS (Ranged) - Twinkletoes
DPS (Ranged) - Clostridium

The above is the ideal group make up for an 8 man Ops group. Obviously we may get far from ideal, so don't let the above put you off.

If your interested, and want to come along, sigh up by way of reply.

Cheers,

Kurtt

Kinda interested.

Im always going to be undergeared though as no way am I picking cotton to get gear*  ;)

I can work on my customs at least as I can make most of the bits I need, its just being lucky with RE.

Ill be available for that with my full mix of Tionese/columi tier gear

Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money." Josiah Stamp (Governor Bank of England 1928-41)

As Garry said, you'll be fine. Want me to put you down as a tank?

Don't be afraid to sign up even if it seems full. We can always do a normal or hardmode with surplus guildies online and I'll happily make room for a proper dps if all tanks show up.

Can't make it sunday night.

Just thought i'd roll up and give you a bit of handy advice. Me and Pidge have been doing ops with our new guild, and can honestly say that EV normal mode is a piece of piss. It's easier than a lot of the HM flashpoints i've done, so don't worry if you don't think youre geared (Jon :P). Put it this way, I even went into EV Hard Mode in orange mod gear with lv 49 crafted epic mods and did ok.

Also, the gear shareout in normal mode is a bit piss poor, but still good for gearing up. Some gear (both Tionese and Columi) will drop, but lets say there are 2 inquisitors, and the item is an inquis item...it will auto roll it an assign it to the winner. It's good as it solves the whole gear arguments...but bad because you get a chance of someone getting 2 of the same piece while someone has non...or assigning a DPS piece to a healer.

Hey all,

Id also be interested in joining if there is space ^^
I can tank on my jedi, or heal on my smuggler.
I can also dps on either character although the gear might be poor :)
