Its something they do need pulling up on though, as hell do we even know the aims of the alliance? As I could understand near-mandatory ops etc and proper fittings etc if they fit the aims :)

i think one of the issues is that they heve no idea about fitting ;) i mean Caldari armour tankers whod have funked it, ceptors with armour in lows, why the fuck would you do that? etc....

plus the fees dont amount to any priveledges that i am aware of, they dont police the systems beyond PNQ that i saw

and they are dicks :D  (but as i said before i am a hater )
