The Dog & Duck / So never play MTG with your partner

I've been playing MTG 2012 via Steam. Resparked my interest in Magic the Gathering. Last time I played was 1995-1997. Ice ages, Tempest, that era.
So I went to pick up a free 30 card red starter deck in exchange for mysoul personal information.
Showed it to the gf. Apparently she loves dragons. We played two demo games with just the 30 card deck. She beat me. I beat her.
Bought quite a few cards from the 2011 core set today with several ready to play decks. She whoops my ass three times and picks it up pretty fast overall.
Then we open two boosters. She gets a foil. I get a planeswalker (chandra), which she subsequently rips out of my hand and claims as her own when I say it's a mythic rare.
I'm going back to playing on Steam. Which she now also wants to take as her own.
And I'm not allowed to come near any of the sealed decks and boosters we still have left.
I've created a monster.

The Dog & Duck / AFG for a while

Yarr.
I uninstalled Steam yesterday and won't be gaming for a while (hopefully).
This year wasn't the most super awesome but I learned a lot. About myself and other people. Basically I'm looking to get some results in life. Make sure harvest season comes along, both financially, physically and in the personal development area.
I spent two weeks putting in an hour or two worth of effort getting my goat in LOTRO. However small this may seem, it hammered into my brain that you can't get results unless you put in just a bit of simple effort every day. And if you do, results will come. Something I knew, but couldn't get myself to do when it comes to setting up my internet business.
Looking at my Steam stats made me cringe. All those hours running around as El Presidente in Tropico 3 in just two days could have been spent on creating my future internet empire. Which is what I plan on doing from now on.
The new job starting in January will suck up a lot of commuting time as well. So the few hours at home not making dinner, cleaning or keeping the ladies in the house happy, need to be spent wisely.
At least your L4D performance will improve. I've been sucking ass lately.
Just let Rochelle do her thing and you'll be sweet. She's lethal!
I'll be around the forums, but perhaps a little less as well. Light the goat signal if you need me.

Is it true that documents of mount ownership will cost 220s instead of 1g600s after some november update?
Should I wait with bartering for a festival horse?
I also thought you could trade your current mount for a doc of ownership, but apparently that's not the case.
Also saw there's a goat for sale in the LOTRO store, but it doesn't have beer barrels.

If you leave Michel Delving towards the west, you reach a closed gate. Is that because I don't have the expansion packs, or is it that way for everyone?

Lord of the Rings Online / LOTRO crashes NVIDIA error (formerly Kheledul in Ered Luin)

I've a got a bucket of quests to do in the Dourhand overrun port of Kheledul in Ered Luin. I tend to get raped protecting the elf in the boat. And all the henchmen that pop out of nowhere are annoying.

Now I need to wait a week to let it dry through and through before I switch it back on to see if I can manage to avoid short circuiting the damn thing. It was an old shuffle, but still.
