GAH! HoJ alliance membership issue!

I log in this evening and I cannot access /a /ao and when hitting G and checking the alliance page in the guild window, we arent in one.

We have no message showing us as leaving it, while we do still have the one showing us as joining it.

I have tried a bug report, and even tickets (not that there is any guild issues ticket class...) but am yet to get a response from any GOA employed CSR's.

And now I just ctd'd in Altdorf :S

Not even an email response yet either

This really does suck, so for now, we'll have to make do with chatting on the forum and if someone sets it up a /TBH channel ingame

Thanks. I'm astonished that hasn't happened to me. It took me fifteen minutes to get from the Altdorf flight master to the bank, but the game didn't crash. Might be different in RvR though.

This is not an issue we are aware of. The only suggestion we have at this time is to disband the alliance and reform.

We realise this is by no way an ideal solution, however at this time it is the only suggestion we have.

I'll be looking out for both Tyr and Clericia this evening when I am back from making a clients life a misery for opening and working on a Sunday...

I fully intend to have this alliance remade and up and running successfully by the end of the day today.

I spoke with somebody from CSR yesterday about an issue with the NPC's in the Maidens Landing BO in Avelorn.
After we had chatted - I asked about the alliance issue we had.
He said that they are seeing the issue a lot and they don't really know what the problem is.

I think with the upcoming 1.1 release the CSR and dev teams have too much distance - hence issues aren't being escalated well.

We talked around the alliance/guild issue and it appears to be a mismatch of what is stored when using the GUI and slash commands.
I'm guessing that the GUI is updating the config in one way - and the slash commands are updating the config in a different way.

The end result is that some of the config is getting out of sync. 

When the alliance is back up and running - in the short term it would be best, when you modify; settings, membership, etc - select one method of updating and stick with it to stop it happening again.
