World of Warcraft Retail / Re: A Wow Thread

In a few hours, when I've finished downloading the 651Mb patch, yes.

I like Warhammer and originally planned to play it for the rest of the year to give it a proper go, but even after upgrading my RAM my PC just can't handle the tier 2 scenarios. I think I really found my niche as an archmage too, but I can hardly heal people if I'm watching the screen refresh once per second during combat.

If it runs a bit smoother in six months I might try it again.

Damn it, why didn't anyone ever do that when I lived in Oz and had broadband?

We get no service, our concerns are not heard and we pay more than USA and Australia players.

Don't envy Australian players. Broadband is Oz is behind Europe, in my (admittedly slightly outdated) experience. And unless they have servers physically located in Australia, lag will be a significant problem.

No, not a WoTLK post (Sooner ram red hot needles through my eyelids).

Deceptive cat is deceptive.

My impression of Warhammer is that the humour comes from ridiculous levels of carnage and destruction.

Such as in one of the novellas later in the Vampire: Genevieve volume, in which the hard-nosed watchman Filthy Harald snorts demon dust and spends a night beating the hell out of a street full of cutthroats and low-lives. Without asking them any questions. Just to soften them up for later when he will.

It never occurred to me to check, as I don't buy games much any more. Does Warhammer Online come with that Starforce thing they saddled Spore with?

What is the real word for an ACRONYM, when ACRONYM is a ACRONYM :)

Ah, a word that created itself.

Potentially a silly question, but is the grass green out of the packet?

Evil cults, witches, and necromancers use this time to their advantage, easily raising the dead and calling upon them to spread wickedness across the land.

Heresy, eh? Well, my hammer knows what to do about that.
