Hello all,

I have been a CEO of my own corporation before I joined MAADI as some of you may know and well... it's in the blood...
So I decided I am going to be one again. Mangala have been informed of this off course. Mangala and we decided that the new corporation I am creating and MAADI and KASEI will stay friends and we will be blue together. We will stay in EVE Newbs and we keep in touch... if we can we will even help each other when needed.

With this post I want to let you all now I enjoyed my stay in MAADI, like those who will follow towards the new corporation did.

The new corporation is called New Eden Recon Force (.NERF) and is created in Gallente space.
Where you guys specialize in Cap Ship production we specialize in T2 production (starting with drones....).

I hope we guys can roam from time to time together and never hesitate to ask us anything... we will be more than happy to help.

Fly save and have fun,
Racnim Sinedia (new CEO of the New Eden Recon Force).

i thought i read somewhere on a defblog that you would need stuff out of both "worlds" so not every mineral etc could be found in w-space.

I read that too indeed

Because of this war we got diverted a bit, but I was wondering how our contacts where with 0.0 and us joining a 0.0 alliance?

If/when we would have had real production/mining a war like this would have hurt a lot. you can ask sin what a prodction/mining crop (so that is excluding individual gains of players) makes a day.

A mining op which takes a couple of hours and where all members would join like we had every Sunday after DT in the Legacy Syndicate???

Several hundred million... but that is easily calculated: every can is about 3,5 million and a Hulk can do a can per 15/20 minutes or so... Legacy Syndicate had 10 Hulks in the air with a good mining op and we mined for about 3 to 4 hours... so that would be about 300 to 400 million on a good mining op.

We never cashed it off course, since we liked to have the minerals for T2 production (which would make a billion a weak easily with only 5 members doing the actual work).

But that's the corp alone... all those miners mined during the weak ass well for their personal profits... so a war like this would be really painful for a reasonably working mining / production corp... To be honest... I'd pay the 150 million in a sec... (I actually did several times... I'd rather make some good cash than sit docked in a station). War is only useful if you can actually fight as a corp.

And that is exactly the reason why there are corps like the one that dec'd us. They know a war like this would hurt operations enormously for an industrial corp.
And that is probably the reason why they didn't proceed the war against us... it didn't really hurt the corp that much... some individual players lost a bit of cash on this (I lost about a 100 million or so by not being able to mine), but that's peanuts really... They knew we where not going to pay... and that made this war futile...

About the belts thingie...

Quote from: CCP Chronotis
In normal space, celestial belts will stay as they are now and nothing is changing there with Apocrypha. In wormhole space, all the belts are hidden and will need to be scanned down.

Since I've got an alround character I can't really see the use of it...
Besides... why do we want one corp split up in a dozen anyway???

Performance on SISI has improved a ton (traditionally it's always been poor due to limited resources) but it looks like they've started on the client performance tweaking & optimisations.
I have a legacy of 900 BM's on one of my chars that I've never got around to sorting and cleaning out.  On TQ they load like a dog - but on SISI the load is virtually instant.

That sounds nice :)

Not that my computer has any lag at all... (Quad Core with 2 HD4250's [Crossfire])
but it's still nice...

Good to know :) For me it sadly is of no use, as the steam-powered lap-top doesn't support even Pixel Shader 2.0...

Very old laptop :)
Although the changes are kinda disturbing me too, since they plan to go to Pixel Shader 3.0 later this year... and then even my laptop can't run eve anymore (and my laptop is only 7 months old :( )
