Drama in the Swarm?
« on: February 03, 2009, 10:23:40 AM »
http://kugutsumen.com/showthread.php?t=3591

Suas (Kiatolon) aka Shutupandshout, guy who sang little bee, ripped off the goons, his compatriots :) Not a ripoff on the Remedial scale for Goons I am sure (vac?) but ;)

Yet another reason to love eve.

Coad thread from eve-o, take it with a huge fuckton of salt :)

Got it from:

'Our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others. Past and present. And by each crime, and every kindness, we birth our future.'

'We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection.
The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.'

Yeah, Goon Drama - best drama.  :o

Still being pieced together, but a lot of people are upset; but as with all Goon drama, participation will go up, not down ...

My My, I havent seen so many over inflated ego'd working so hard in a long time  ::).
That kind of thing is one of the main reasons I resigned as the Leader of a 500 member WoW guild back in the day. I just can't be assed with the politics and the ' who stole who's lollipop'

Though after a moments consideration I have to admit to two thoughts.

1. Its amazing just how seriously some people take a game  ::)
and
2. Its much more fun reading about it from the outside.  ;D my fav part being the script of the little chat Darius and Yelina had. I think they should go back to monopoly.  :P
A married man should forget his mistakes.  There's no use in two people remembering the same thing!
Eagles may soar but weasel's don't get sucked into jet engines!

lol

im sensing issues within goons many groups
"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money." Josiah Stamp (Governor Bank of England 1928-41)

What's the score with Goon at the mo?
Looking at: http://www.eve-maps.com/outpostalert/alliancechart.asp?FilterType=Alliance&FilterBy=OHGOD show's a steady decline over the last 90 days with the number of systems with Goon sov.

Aye - BorderZone fighting :)

Interesting also that the decline is sov appears to be inversly proportional to the rise in pilots :s

We ceded a Wicked Creek to the ally russians; and we've lost a couple of station systems to the GBC/-A- lot. Note that RA are on our side in this one, along with UNL, TCF and the NC.

Nothing particularly dramatic as our core areas of Detorid and Feythabolis are healthy - we need to sort out a few bits of Esoteria and Feyth before we really pick up steam.
