Camera Spin
« on: August 18, 2009, 03:45:17 PM »
Well I finally got in but now play is impossible without getting seasick - the camera spins continously around my character slowly panning upwards until I'm looking down and spinning.  When I try and run I have to constantly pull the mouse across - its like steering a shopping trolley with a wonky wheel.  Tried all the camera options I can find logged a bug ticket - has anyone else experienced this kind of thing?

No, first I've heard of it.

Are you playing with a controller plugged in? If so, did the game launch while one of the sticks was pushed in any direction?

sorry cant help anymore than the obvious :S
"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money." Josiah Stamp (Governor Bank of England 1928-41)

Doh - round the back I eventually noticed a microsoft controller still plugged in and stuffed in a box of wires leaning on the swivel stick :) unplgged and all is well.  My main concern now is whether the acid graphics will burn out my eyeballs before the end of beta
