I take it back. The 2001 is my second favourite. I present the new king:

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
 I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when my fear is gone
I will turn and face fear's path, and only I will remain.

Dune being a much maligned film, yet still a favourite of mine, tried to put too much in too short a time (if you think 2 1/2 hours is short). The studios not letting Lynch do what he wanted to do and with it running way over budget was never truely realised to its potential.
"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money." Josiah Stamp (Governor Bank of England 1928-41)

I never really cared much for the film. The books though - oh the books. I've read Dune from cover to cover must be more than 20 times. The sci-fi adaptations I enjoyed for what they are, though haven't seen them all.

Heh! That Catapult looks pretty accurate! Cool!

Hehe
My favorite Lego was a yellow castle I and my brothers got for christmas when I was hmm about 4 perhaps.
It is still the bulk of our lego collection, it predates all the "big" flat pieces hehe.

I joined my 3-yr old nephew in the lego-fray yesterday. Old times came back!

I built a house   :D

Lego man timeline:

I looked through that and had most of them up to the early 90's!

The first thing I thought of when I saw the 1987 figures was Robin Hood: Men in Tights. There's something really wrong with my brain. ::)
