Title: Echad Mirobel
Post by: Kurtt on December 14, 2009, 10:44:45 AM
Anyone fancy doing the Library and Schoold in Echad Mirobel (sp?). Think they're around level 52/53. Kurtt needs these, and I want to get them out the way before I out level them, as I had a quick peek, and they seemed like fun.

Fitzer is interested. I don't have the quests (threw away all Eregion quests this morning in a rage fit; although I didn't have any quests to either Library or School yet), but I went inside both to check what they are like (curious mind and all that; if I see a closed door I simply *have to* open it and peek inside).

Awesome. As far as I know, they're 3 man instances.

the pre quests arent too painful, dodgy drop rate on one of them though iirc

Didn't get anything done in LOTRO yesterday, hopefully today I'll get the pre-quests done.

Would it be possible to schedule Library and School runs for tomorrow (Thursday) evening?

I'd be ok with it - unless other people need to go for stuff (then I can play an alt or something :D)

Well, Thursdays are normally no good for me, as we go to our place of worship then (I'd call it Church, but it ain't :D ). However, I'm down with this nasty flu bug thats going round, so I should be on for some Captain buffage.

Well in that case, Kurtt, garry and Fitzer go ahead and do them then.

Wouldnt mind getting some skirmishes done on Beo and start my other two alts also :)

ive done them so i dont mind not going so you can see them matey.

Captain healing and burg CJs work in them only thing youd need to look out for is the pale ones poisons (nothing a potion or 2 cant solve)

Something my Burg could/should cleanse? Ie should I be spesifically aware for those?

i will prob be on my hunter anyways so not an issue.

Hope you get better soon Kurtt!

Let's schedule this for an evening when you feel better. Or, if Caradir "needs" the place done with several toons, I am prepared to go in with Fitzer more than once. So, if for example Beos wants to visit the place again, why not schedule a run for tonight?!  ;D

Im free tonight, most of tomorrow and prob sun eve if want to reschedule for then sometime.

Was also going to propose taking you guys into URU or CD  they require a bit more time URU about 2 hours CD can take twice that (which is why its on a 3 day lock)

Tonight I can play, on Sunday in the evening (but not too late). Tomorrow I have a Blood Bowl game scheduled (in a private league I play in), and after I get the kids to bed I will start the wrapping of presents (which will take a few hours, I think; I have presents to wrap up for four children and one wife, traditionally I do that in the garage listening to some proper music (like for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gypMm0fXeto ) while drinking some hot glögg (aka mulled wine)).

How does the schedule look for people tonight or tomorrow? Is Kurtt starting to feel any better? From Wednesday and on I think I won't turn the PC on for a few days, lots of other things to do with the family :)

I am home early afternoon today, so I could play between 13:30 GMT and 15:00 GMT, or then in the evening after 19:15 GMT. Would either of those slots fit to others interested in these? :)

I could possibly do 1:30pm to 3:00pm today, as long as its quiet at work.

And I'm feeling much better, thanks :D

OOPs so i dragged them into the School thinking that was the "easier" of the 2 but i was wrong, 1st boss went down 1st attempt with me dying :), 2nd boss went down 2nd attempt with help from that stupid exploit bug, and last boss went down 2nd time after a wipe so was pretty good really :D

Kurrt ninjad all the loot :D hehe

Kurtt and all Loot in same sentence.

No change then.

Again, thanks gents for dragging me along :)  Hopefully we could have time to do the Library later tonight :)

I so suck at playing a burg in a fellowship, that for one was evident. I think I missed every single addle (spell interrupt), I did remember to keep the Reveal Weakness debuff up perhaps half the time, and Counter-defence... well, at least I did remember to use it on bosses, at least when they were almost dead already anyway  ::)  Also didn't notice Eld died at the first boss, was running around like a headless chicken... But at least I evasion tanked the last boss after I accidently pulled aggro (still don't know how that happened though, should have used Provoke slightly more I guess  ::)).

Next time I'll try to be slightly more sharp, I promise :)

Any chance for some instance visiting or other group activity during the coming weekend? Today I'll be at work until close to midnight (have to do all the annual stuff before the pharmacy opens tomorrow), and after getting home I think I might have a beer :p Friday, Saturday and Sunday I am basically free (as long as I can schedule the domestic stuff in advance :) ), so if there is any interest for some instances (either to continue the epic books in Angmar/Misty Mountains, or possibly a GA visit or something), please do chime in :)

I need to do all the group quests in Evendim, in particular Tomb of Elendil, if anyone is interested? Still have the GA q's to do, as well as Book 4 on Kurtt. Also need GB on Norro.

I need to do some book stuff with Beo (V1B5 CV possibly and certainly another book but up in Angmar area), as well as wouldnt mind some gobbo town stuff.

So count me in - Saturday will be best for sure.

Student lifestyles! Any old excuse for a knees up.

Sorry I wasnt there Jarkko - I have a feeling VM throttled me during my last 2 downloads (ive been torrenting and converting alot of movies/music today...) slowing down my reinstall horribly.
