yes it does! and it's gotten better after M10 (e.g. no more ear drum tearing jumpgate sounds)
so mebbe try if eve has sound now...

Gave it a go yesterday - I like the additional slider, being able to turn down warp is good.  Sound still needs major improvements though, so I turned it back off!
