Guys- just to let you know Im taking a break from war for a little while. Theres a couple of reasons, first that I want to try wotlk and dont have time for 2 mmos, second (and a big one) I keep getting ctds and low fps. I think my computer is just on the verge of being able to play this game but I need to see if they get better through patches, or I get a better computer myself.

I do like the game and they are fixing things at a high pace so I have high hopes for the future.

I'll be keeping an eye on the forum and when I come back in a while I will reapply if necessary.

All the best,

Angelor.

I looked into this a while ago as I reminisced about the game. In the tournament world there are "crutch" make ups for armies that give you a real edge. I remember Empire stacking steam tanks and goblins stacking monsters like wyverns causing great concern.

In 40 k space marines were seen to be the golden child and unbalanced for a long time.

Im struggling with the level 25-30 thing, and the ctds and that at times I lose fps.

Hoping all this will be sorted in a few patches, but I might play less until they are done.

Any tips for levelling 25-28? Im getting disheartened as I dont want to chain run scenarios, and the quests left in Human t3 seem a bit hard. If I shift over to do the other 2 racial pairings enough, or is it a case that scenarios are pretty necessary? I too want to get some t4 action!

Im glad something was said to be honest. This is a great guild but Ive been close to putting a couple of members on ignore as they constantly whine about their class or order generally.

Another new patch is incoming with a (much needed) regional chat system implemented also the curse of seed drops is due to change.

Most importantly though-

Nurglings will no longer continue to make aggressive sounds after they have been killed

I got a nice purple hat- i just cant wear it for a few more levels!

I had good fun and felt the place was a lot better pve experience than the sewers which seemed way more buggy. Also fewer mobs did cleaves or aoes so I was actually able to get into melee range! Also as everyone keeps getting new spells the combat looked really good at times, some great spell affects.

Looking forward to doing it witha smaller group and seeing those instance bosses, but will wait till im 25 for that, until then looking forward to another warband and finishing off some quests.

Hope theres more pve like this in the game.

Not sure on 3- the way the background splits the front symbols is a bit weird

This is a great scenario for a witch hunter- even better if theres 2 of you! Stealth to flag and wait until theres only one or two defending then kill them and run like hell with the flag!

I dont run directly back though over the bridge I take a much longer route which avoids a lot of destro, and you can get support sometimes if you can type coming in west or something similar.

The scenario really does depend on getting the balance of attack and defend right and having 2/3 people that will go out there and get the flag.

Hey Garros!

Im a fellow witch hunter and have started to make a few tentative steps into the theorycrafting of the game which is very basic at the moment. Threads are disagreeing on which spec to go for, but one thing they do agree on is flowing accustaions ( I think its called- the 2 extra accusations tactic) is really good and should be prioritised.

Im going to try out each tree but at the moment im going confession to get shroud of magnus. Let me know how you get on- Id be interested to hear any advice too.

Found one in sw ostland and couldnt get in. It puts a riddle in the tok and there are 4 selectable graves. After a while I gave up and tried google but the answer wasnt out there yet...

Lair of the Defiler - Ostland - located in Ostland in the SW corner of the map up against the mountains. It is a crypt found within a graveyard. When first found the doors to the crypt are closed with no known way to open them. A clue to opening the gate in the form of a riddle is unlocked in the Tome of Knowledge when the lair is found.
Seven Lords with seven sons.
Faith corrupted, life undone.
For young pilgrims, four to come.

The only explanation is that they are Terminators. Simple as that.
